Kud-chan appears!! But somehow I don't think no need for her appearance in this episode since everything is focusing on Komari.
[mod edit: removed VN-based speculation about future content] P.S. poor Mio, with the story goes on like this, I believe she might have to wait for 2-3 episode to make a real debut in the anime. komari is okay..but she is like fuko in clannad, LOTS fo people dropped clannad because of fuko, and i'm really not that excited about her route either...
i know what i want to see, and what i want to see is RIN HARUKA and KUD haruka route starts: ore wa shiawase ni naru yo~ |

I didn't really like the vibes Kudo was giving off. She just doesn't seem as moe as her vn counterpart.
But on the other hand, I enjoyed the intro to Komari's route. It definitely established a melancholic mood that occurs in every key's character routes. |

This episode had a weird structure: while we finally got more introduction, Kud's got literally shoved aside, a bit like Haruka's first scene last week, as the episode was heavily Komari centred.
Spoiler for Comparison to the VN:
Because of that, the pacing felt quite odd, because you have several events not really having a clear connection to each other, which makes the story progression a bit... difficult to grasp.

the episode is.... good? but it felt like they jump start a route already without properly introducing the cast.
Spoiler for vn comparison:
I was expecting an introduction of Kud this episode but I got a different one >_> quite disappointed at that one but the episode itself is find for me even if it felt rushed or skipping at some point.

Well, well ... caught up on eps 3 and 4 this evening, and I must admit that I have been charmed by Kud.
Good material ... it's kinda interesting to watch how unexpectedly the series "quickdraws" back and forth between seriousness, comedy, tragedy, etc. Good series, good series....

I like Kud already. No wonder she has many fans.
The pacing seems off but at least the story is really moving now. Now, we start Komari's arc. It would have been better to have Kud join Little Busters first though.

Kud's appearance had me saying the same thing Haruka's did: does her voice seem kinda off compared to the VN version? It could be because there's been such a long gap for these seiyuu between the VN and the anime.
At least Haruka's "Yahaha" sounds the same. |

Yeah I am really starting to wonder about the direction here because it feels a bit too disjointed now (Still in the introduction phase for this cast but we are jumping ahead into Komari's route wtf?), this episode being the worst yet on that front.
