You know, in that pink wing picture in the magazine, it actually doesn't look nearly as bad. At the same time though, it would have been THAT MUCH more awesome if those were solid wings instead.

Star Build Strike Rifle's top barrel can bend 180o backwards, shield's folded barrel thing can connect to the rifle.

You're doing it wrong then: lineart in many cases almost always looks worse than the kits or the animation. This is especially true of stuff like Kunio Okawara's works, whch has incredibly wonky lineart yet look awesome in action, ex. Freedom Gundam, Wing Gundam, God Gundam etc. And incidentally enough, the Build Strike and the Star Build Strike are Okawara designs.

Not to say that there aren't any good looking linearts out there, stuff like Hajime Katoki's or BEE-Craft's linearts tend to look good. It's just that hating a design based off its lineart when the actual design looks good in motion and as plastic is a bit backwards.

I looked at the lineart to get a good view of the whole gundam( the gunpla pic didn't display everything) and disliked what I saw. I understand what you are saying, but it doesn't change how much I hated the design (mainly the backpack ) . I think this is the first time I had such a feeling. Perhaps the animation will change my design, but for now I'm hoping for Build Mk-II's upgrade.

We have had full image views of the design since then, in Gunpla form no less(see pic in the posts above).

And yet the Build Strike looks awesome in action, I've no doubt the same will be true of the Star Build Strike.

Well for those who don't like the Plavsky bird wings, I'm sure the X looking wings on the universe booster will look nice on the build strike as well.

I wonder if the booster pack alone will come with a set of the plavsky wings and the new leg mold as I don't want to have to get two build strikes.

a man can hope... :/ especially since it seems like it would be part of the universe booster runners with the pink clear parts.

And the torso isn't different. Its pieces that fold out from under the booster pack, around and over strikes shoulder

Finally had the time to watch episode 2... and just couldn't stop there. China Kousaka is definitely a plus, megane fetish and max level.

Really loving the designs of all the suits. Zaku amazing is as the name states amazing.
