Yeah the first 3 tracks are gloriously dark and frantic! Then the rest is a little more somber.

Holy crap I thought the first OST was pretty amazing, but this volume just blows the first one out of the water. Sayaka's theme, that Venari Strigas, the classical pieces, everything sounds wonderful. A little disappointed that there was no Oktavia's theme, but atleast its a safe bet it will be included in OST Vol.3 along with Walpurgis and Goddess MAdoka's themes.

Many a tear was shed over the lack of Octavia's and Walpurgisnacht's themes. That said, Decretum and Pugna infinita were suitably awesome. Venari strigas, too. Definitely better than the first OST, though it has little hope of holding out against the third.
