This site is the only place I know so far, and it's only in Chinese. If you still want it, register (it's one of the bolded options below the banner) first and check out the sub-forum that has "school rumble" in its title.

You can download new chapters from Manga Inc.

However to get the previous chapter you must join their IRC channel and download them from there.

I posted a torrent for all released chapters of School Rumble, and another series #mangainc is doing called GenzouHK here.

I downloaded the torrent and I read the first 7 chapters or so (66 pages). I hate to say this, but I think the scanslation is pretty shitty. I know I should appreciate the fact that there IS a scanslation, but there are parts that aren't translated and parts that are translated poorly, so it makes the manga much less enjoyable than it would be if I just read the Japanese version. There are several instances where the translation makes the context of the situation ambiguous and unclear, like when Harima saw the foreigner's name on the class list and hit the guy who told him.

I'll keep reading but I still think that the anime is about 1,000x better due to the excellent translation there.

Edit

Also what's with each chapter being so freaking short? It makes the manga feel so episodic and I hate that.

I've pretty much stopped reading the scanlations because at times, especially during scenes that you know should be funny, the translated text is anything but funny. Most times it's down right confusing...

Damn you to hell Mangatron And here I was wondering how Harima has slowly been amasing a small horde of femmes gunning after him, all the while we're about half a book behind >_<

Warning, don't read this at work. Ppl around will be wondering why you're suddenly smiling like a drunk fool.

Well I'm sorry, but I'm enjoying it But Manga Inc's translator is just doing a horrible job, I mean, wow, left alot of it untranslated at times. I remember one time, he just put a "blah blah blah" instead of translating the real thing, and he puts a note about it.

The translator is listed somrewhere on the website, see if we can email the person But really, manga inc' is working on vol 5 at the moment, vol 6 is like completed in japan, and on to vol 7. So technically, I'm two books ahead

It was just a bunch of math crap, I probably wouldn't have read if it was translated anyway.

chapter 64 last page
Japanese: 一条が2人いった
translated by mangainc as: Me and Ichijou are a couple
actual translation: Two Ichijous (literally there were two Ichijous).....
(Tenma says the thing as Ichijou did when she was wearing the Dojibiron mask)

we could go and on. tons of totally incorrect translations not just badly worded translations.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Spoiler:

And that's just ONE PANEL.

Of course, it's my translation against theirs, but I'm betting you can find a lot more people who would agree with mine than theirs.

Of course. And, for anyone who doesn't understand japanese, many people would say get a jap dictionary, and whoola, you got yourself a translation. Now maybe we should put our heads together and translate it ourselves. Say, who's up to start a group? lol, I'll provide the raws

So I take it you'll be translating the series from scratch for the leeching public?
