The spoiler is moot regardless, Satou didn't actually have any means to hurt him at this point.
The choice of using guns for mid-range was not a bad decision, considering he was constantly getting bound by shadowbinds.

And like I said above, it's a moot point. Satou couldn't kill him, it was obvious he didn't have any means to in the short battle, and he was constantly having to deal with shadowbind tentacles (which Satou was obviously having hard time to deal with). His choice to use the guns was not "foolish" as you people keep claiming.

That's a level 310 strike to a level 41. It should be clear that skill could nullify level difference. But of course, some people will still think otherwise (or rather, don't want to think at all lol).

It is refer to a certain type of ability, a certain type of summon, If a chicken is summoned with that ability, then that chicken is a hero. Satou wasn't summoned as one.

Adding up some info for the spoilers discussion above (again, don't read it if you don't want to know. it will only get explained few volumes later)

Apparently titles will grant extra effects to the users. the mage has a curse blessing from gods which makes him immortal and he can only be killed by people with title of hero. But since Sato has the ability to unequip titles and conceal them, the undead mage does not know Sato is a hero nor Sato could kill him with his title unequipped.

What make him a fool isn't about his chose of weapon.
First is "let negotiate " while he don't even have any card to play in the negotiate ,
Then second , he have time to prepare yet in the end create a mess.
OP or not , there are always ways to beat him and kidnap the princess but the actions Satou chose lead to the fail make me though "is he an idiot ?"
The chose he make normally lead to party wipe out if there are no plot shield.

"Negotiation"? Do you mean the extremely short exchange they had? Or the banters?

That's simply greeting and responding to a line.
It's no more than a BANTER. What he said is basically "You ain't getting this girl, piss off."
He knows it won't work, but he at least has the courtesy to have these (very short) words.
Even something like Game of Thrones have "exchanging words with the enemy", or hell, Breaking Bad.
"Why didn't Walter open fire the moment he saw them! Why do they bother to exchange words? These shows are STUPID!"

He pretty much immediately thrusts with his arms right after these short exchange. Is that not up-in-face enough for you?

Then in middle of the fight, Zen doesn't seem to take any damage, and compliments Satou on his action.
Satou then simply returns a banter "Will you give up then?" to which he replies no.

All the conversations that happen are standard fight banters. Nothing feels out of place or unwarranted.

He's testing the water and he didn't abandon anything else by doing that. But bad people is just bad people right? just kill 'em! lol

How is he creating the mess? How would he knew that the enemy will be invincible? He did make a mistake but it's not something unfixable and he will learn from it. Or are you expecting him to be a perfect protagonist that could predict everything?

Specify which action that make you think that, because if it's only the two above, that make me think that what you're saying actually apply to you instead.

With all the trouble he has I see no reason for him to have such high level.
I mean even if you have no skill having level almost 8 times higher the enemy shouldn't be a problem.
I mean if I am in the game 80 lvl - they guy with level 10 is just a moth for me.

And based on the current situation it seems that the current hero will be able to defeat Satou.

Also in general reference to the earlier topic of Satou's skill point allocation, he had 3100 skill points and he only needs 10 to max out any given skill. that's plenty of skill points for him to be a little loose in picking them. That said, I can understand people getting bothered by some of the selections. He passed up skills like 'Strategy', 'Sprinting', 'Lost Knowledge' and 'Herculean Strength', even turns his nose at skills like 'assassination' but will max out his spear skill which he doesn't need and almost never uses. Not completely against 'wasted' skill points though, sex technique, FTW.
