js06 is the legendary translator of the Toaru Majutsu no Index light novels, and is the reason why the entire light novels has been completely translated. IIRC he is able to complete the translation of a single volume of the light novels within 2 days.

He also translates the other works by author Kazuma Kamachi (Heavy Object, A Simple Survey, and The Circumstances Leading to Waltraute's Marriage) and the original Toaru Kagaku no Railgun manga series.

I admit, this guy who is holding the entire collection of Horizon is close to becoming our main contributor of content, but not as close to js06 levels.
I think he has plans of buying the Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon Encyclopedia as well.

In that collection photo, I notice that there 2 different book cover.
What are those book that on the pillow, are they the same with just new covers or are they somthing else?

Daki is the cover for hugging pillow, not... normal you use to support your head. So they normaly have the same length as the average human body.

Imagine instead of hugging your girlfriend to sleep, you have dakimakura to use instead.

The 公主 in 公主隠し refers specifically to a princess of the Chinese royal family, so I'm not entirely sure why it's translated as noble. Also unsure as to why it's romanized as Koushi in the English wiki.

On the same page, 何をしているの is translated as 'What do you know?', which is either a typo or a mistranslation.

I'm changing all instances of 公主隠し in the light novel translations to princess disappearances, for lack of a better name. Hopefully someone comes up with something better.

Apologies for that. My Japanese knowledge worsens the more complicated the usage of kanji is, or the more complicated the sentence structure turns out.

"Koushi" used to Romanized 公主 has been the "classic" translation of the term (i.e., used since the first appearance of the term in the anime series), and especially because there's no direct Japanese counterpart to the Chinese gongzhu.

And I realized that the phrase 何をしているの is "What are you doing?". Crap.

The closest and most concise translation for 公主隠し is "Princess-related Abductions". "Princess Abductions" sounds like princesses are the abducted instead of the abductor, and we don't know if the "Princess" herself is the one kidnapping people.

Well, it's stated pretty explicitly that the Princess/Princesses are directly related to the kidnappings, and it's heavily implied that they are the perpetrators.
