Eep, DVDs are expensive in Japan... also, they wouldn't work on your DVD player you bought at home - they're not region-free (which is why I had to miss out on the sale Kinokuniya had on all those Miyazaki DVDs

).

Also... there's an "edit" button for a reason. Just letting you know.

Meh... if Paniponidash can get over here.... Lucky*Star is almost a breeze in comparison of cultural density.... I suspect the company that brought over Haruhi will also port Lucky*Star.

If you *want* to play your Region 2 DVDs on a player rather than your computer then just pick up one of those massively cheap players that run for about $50-$75.
Otherwise, you can get intercept software for your computer that fools the region code or purchase a dvd-burner unit that can be firmware scrubbed.
Orrrrrr.... just buy a second dvd-rom, install it and mark as region 2 only.
Oh and don't use the latest version of Windows Media Player (use the classic one that comes with CCCP).

Eh, I own a lot of R2 dvds, including an entire set of Haruhi DVDs. I know where to buy my DVD players

Hmm, I see. The two posts are two different topic though, one is me asking a question, the other is a response to another thread about DVD cover art. I don't think they belong to the same post but, golly, whatever makes you folks happy.
