Try renaming the ext form .mkv to .avi. If your has the codec install it should be able to watch it then.

Hey Kaze fans, just like to let you all know Yagami Kazuma is up to bat in his round of SaiGar: The Tournament of a Man among Men. SaiGar, hosted by Yotsuba/4chan is the ELC equivalent of 2channel and Futaba/2chan's SaiMoe tournament, only smaller in scale. Rather than focus on who is the most cute (moe) girl in the previous year, our tournament leans heavily toward who is the most manly/badarse (gar) male of the past two or three anime seasons.
Kazuma was nominated and is in a competitive match. For more information, please look to the SaiGar topic in AnimeSuki's General Anime Forum. Good luck, Kazuma!

Just finished this series. It was surprisingly fun, i can understand why alot of people felt disappointed this show. Personally i feel that reading the novels along side with the anime greatly helped me in appreciating this series and pissed at the same time knowing that on some level Gonzo ruined another Good series. There was just so much stuff they could have used from the novels. Oh well i m not going to go deep into that. At least i can hope that if there is a second season it will not be done by Gonzo.
Speaking of a second season, we probably have to wait for awhile. But Since last time i checked the author was still not feeling well and is taking a large break from writing the main storyline. His recent works have all been short stories regarding Kns. His latest release was vol 5 of the Kaze no stgima ignition short story series in december 2007. And for those of you who don't know there are 6 volumes of the Kns main storyline novels, the anime only covered up to vol 5 of the main storyline, with materials taken from vol 1-4 of the short stories novels. So for those who are curious as to what happened after ep24 you could still look up vol 6 of the novel for more plot and the ignition short stories for various entertaining moments between kazuma and Ayano and most interestingly- the details of kazuma's past such as what happened right after Tsui Ling's death and roughly what he did the next 2 years and hints at how he got so strong in such a short time. Ah Kaze no Stigma, been a while since I watched an episode.
Hadn't heard anything about it being licensed, but if it comes over that's fine. Wonder if that would lead to the novel being licensed and brought over. I hope there is a second season. Still material to work with. Just if they do make another season I hope there is more budget for animation this time.

This is one of those animes where I think it's sfae to assume a second season. The ending to the first is clearly inconclusive and open for a sequel. The reason for temporarily ending it at episode 24 like they did can be easily explained. A. Gonzo is one of those studios that tends not to do anything past 24/26 episodes. B. Because the main novel story has been halted and no new main story volumes have been released for some time. As far as I know, only side-story novel volumes have been released lately, so there isn't any real conclusion to the novels to animate in the first place.

ah, so sad. our main translator is finding free time hard.
he is thinking of leaving the novel translating. well managed to persuade him to just consider it a "break" and come back in late april to see if he still wants to quit. i hope he doesn't as he was the only one who interested in KnS. such a shame. I hope we can find more people to help out, for KnS. Would be ashamed if we have to consider it suspended. D:

Well certainly would hope on some future things coming out. Guess it's just waiting to see if someone decides to pick it up and release some more.
Gotta feel for the translator. Know right now free time just doesn't exist for some. Hopefully it turns out alright and can continue with the novel. But obviously a good solution would be finding more people interested and that have the ability to help. Oh well guess you just hope for the best in many things.

I know I'm pretty late to the game on this comment but, I've been fishing through this site again praying that I overlooked something worth watching (to no avail).
So after watching a slew of horrible animes and passing by this one again I just felt I wanted to compliment it on one thing. Thank god the hero of this anime isn't a complete pansy-wuss-whinny-indecisive-loser! Actually I rather like him. Actually I think that one fact alone makes this show worth watching.. DEATH TO ANIME STEREOTYPES! |
