Can't wait for the rest of season 3. Episode 1 was exactly what I expected out of this series, a dumb silly plot but enjoyable because of the characters. I'm glad Houtou comes back in the next ep, she didn't do a whole lot in season 2.

this is one of the few animes that are crap and their are tons of reason its crap but even their are tons of reason I can't seem to abandon it and not watch it.... I wonder why. I just got hook on another crap

not the greatest anime but it entertaining and has lots of cute characters. Thats enough for me to continue with the 3rd season. There are worst series out there to watch then Shin Koihime Musou.

yeh I know... The characters and their design probably what makes me still hook up to this point and eagerly waiting for a good group to sub it and if they say that this still holds on due to fan service I can clearly say that their are much worst anime that had TONS of it.

Chojo is the three kingdom figure, Zhang Rang It seems that like the last series dealt with the Yellow Turban Rebellion, this season will deal with the 10 Eunuchs and the rise of Toutaku. With some luck we may see lots more Ryofu action <3.

Big fan of the series, nonsensical humour with Yuri fan service. Wonderful stuff, this series so far looks to be the better of the three, or at least has the better first episode of the three >_>

Woohoo, this show is back, the humor is full on, and I love it. I so called they'd think she was pregnant. The new opening and ending are ok, I still like the first opening the best.

Episode 2 didn't progress very much at all.

Ep. 2 was a bit dull plot-wise, but amusing nonetheless.

Spoiler for Episode 2 spoilers (what I observed from the raws):

• We start with Kaku and Kayuu discussing a battle that's gone badly for Toutaku. They agree that retreat is the best option, but Kayuu goes out to help buy some time for them. We find out this happened a year ago and Kaku is despondent because Kayuu apparently died in the fighting. Chojo comes by and seems to give Kaku some order, which she obeys without question.
• We see some light banter between Sei and Sui and then shift to Shuri, Rin Rin and Touka. Shuri is curious about the huge box Rin Rin is carrying. Rin Rin says she found it outside her room before they left and figured it was full of food. Shuri stops her and, though some clever persuation, gets Rin Rin and Touka to agree to help burn the box as it may contain an evil spirit. Tanpopo then jumps out from the box, confirming Shuri's suspicions. Shuri and Rin Rin at first demand Tanpopo go back to the village, but Tanpopo blackmails Rin Rin with something to make her change her mind. The four continue on to Saikyo's place.
• Saikyo, Hinari and Shuri look for the medicine needed, but it seems to be missing. Hinari, however, clearly knows what happened but is hiding the truth. Later, Shuri thinks they might be able to find some if they went to the capital, but Saikyo advises against that. The capital is in a bit of chaos since Kanshin is not only gone, but Chojo seems to be favoring the advancement of Toutaku to the post of head of the Imperial Army (not totally sure about this point, please correct me if I am mistaken here.)
• Rin Rin has a dream where we find out what Tanpopo blackmailed her with: she was chasing a pig around and, in the ruckus, broke Shuri's inkstone. Tanpopo saw it happen.
• After waking up from the dream, Rin Rin heads out to use the bathroom only to see what she thinks is a burgular running about. She catches her only to find out it's Hinari. Everyone confront Hinari, who's packed for a trip to the south. She's responsible for losing the medicine since she found it while cleaning, sneezed it away and then dumped water accidentally on the medicine that had fallen on the floor. Shuri is mad, but only because Hinari hid the truth.
• Shuri, Touka, Rin Rin and Tanpopo decide to head south to find the medicine. Before they leave, Saikyo gives Shuri her swan feather fan, which Shuri is delighted to have now. Along the way, Rin Rin confesses about breaking Shuri's inkstone, thinking she'll forgive her like she forgave Hinari. Shuri flips out and starts chasing Rin Rin around instead.
• At the end we get quick peeks at Aisha, who's hoping everyone's doing well, and Sui and Sei. Sei is upset with Sui because at the last restaurant they were at Sui's ramen had one more menma than hers did.
• Next week: Looks like we're visiting the Son family once again. Presumably Aisha will have arrived there, but she wasn't in any of the preview shots. Looks like Ryomou is a significant part of the episode.

when I first saw the second season as an introduction to the series, (I have only been watching anime for 3 years now.) I almost dismissed it. What I love is the dialog and the voice acting. Some people don't care for the heavy dialog and much of the richness of the language get lost in the translation. It's on season 3 so it must be popular in Japan.
