She will probably scare the others off. If I remember the stats someone showed, she is a lot taller than the rest, something like 20cm taller than even Mio. Might stop Mio whinging about her height/weight though.

I thought this was a hoax meme. Though it does bring in old Opus T. Penguin gags about "heavy metal" bands.

(music nerd note: technically, she's holding a "euphonium" or "baritone" -- mini-tubas with a sound somewhere between a trombone and french horn. Often seen in German polka bands)

At risk of going off topic, I guess I do remember more about my dad's Bloom County books than merely "wow, I can't believe some of these actually got published in a newspaper".

Anyway, is it just me, or is this the first obviously unnatural hair colour we've seen in K-On? Or am I forgetting something?

', I wasnt sure if it was a direct DMC parody or a more generic one but I definately saw the reference to death metal/corpse paint etc

Still...a rockier version of K-ON heading down the Beck route wouldnt be a bad thing...doubt it'll happen though.
