You may be right, but guilt seems to be a pretty major driving factor in this manga though.. look at what Yuzuki did by dating Kazama even though she genuinely liked Haruto

Once Haruto goes into hero mode he's unstoppable. The first half of the manga is a glaring example of that. He was all Nanami, but when he put on the red cape and tights Eba took precedent over all...

I don't think Haruto would go out with Kiyomi out of guilt while loving Yuzuki, nor could I see Kiyomi go out with a guy who she knows lover another girl. And Yuzuki did that after having a pretty much failed long distance relationship and after seeing Haruto hold hands with Nanami and all.

It would be better than the past 30 chapters lol. And he might've declared it but like Kazama said, he'll eventually have to give up on Eba because now it would just be too awkward with Kazama dying and Yuzuki never actually making it clear that she preferred Haruto over him. Kazama died as Eba's boyfriend, not as a rejected love (even if that was the case in reality). Haruto even said himself that he can't say anything to her any longer. And I don't think that he'll actively pursue Kiyomi, it'll probably just be natural progression if they continue to keep in touch with each other in the case that Haruto decides to try and cheer Kiyomi up by keeping her company in Kazama's place. Seo hasn't been writing Kiyomi and Haruto to have such good chemistry and understanding of each other for no reason.

That said, I want Shiho to make her magnificent return soon.

put together a little something. It's a timeline of the events from Yuzuki moving back to Tokyo to the current events

Spoiler for timeline:

2 weeks before first semester: Yuzuki moves back home begins long distance relationship with haruto.

Mid to Late May: Haruto gets a job to buy a gift for Yuzuki.

Early June: Tokyo trip. Last date. Contact is cut.

Early July: Letter is found, Haruto decides to go to Tokyo. In Tokyo Kazama decided to get the surgery and likely shortly after that decided not to get it. (It may be around this time that Yuzuki actually started going out with Kazama if Kiyomi's words are the truth (He decided to get the surgery 3 months before the current time but decided not to when he started going out with Yuzuki. July, August, September; 3 months. 4 since Yuzuki broke up with Haruto.)).

July 19th: The Hiroshima gang is informed of Haruto transferring. Haruto gets in argument with Akari.

July 20th- August 31st: Summer break. Haruto seems to have stayed there for the break and then moved shortly before the start of the new semester. Met Kazama and Asuka.

September 1st: school started. Goes to Yuzuki's house but she hides after seeing it's him even though she knows he saw her. (anyone wodner how Yuzuki got there first when she has to take a train to get all the way back? wheras Haruto is in walking distance.)

Sunday September 6th or 13th: Kazama takes out Haruto and Asuka to watch him ride. Haruto learns that Kazama is sick.

Sunday September 20th: Haruto went to Yuzuki's school festival. was confronted by Yuzuki who confessed to having a boyfriend.

Monday September 21st: Haruto depressed and is cheered up by Kazama. Kazama collapses. Haruto meets Yuzuki in Kazama's hospital room where she pretends not to know him.

Tuesday September 22nd: Day off school because of Autum Equinox Day. Haruto talks with Asuka but leaves in a hurry to go see Yuzuki after he realizes issues with her letter. He talks with Yuzuki and learns that Kazama's dying. Has talk with Asuka then heads to the hospital where Haruto declares war on Kazama.

Wednesday September 23rd: Argument with Asuka about his declaration of war. Haruto makes an omlette and they eat it in Kazama's room.

Thursday September 24th: Caught up in making stroganoff that Haruto doesn't go to see Kazama and Yuzuki.

Friday September 25th: They eat stroganoff and Yuzuki finally smiles for Haruto. Introduction of Kiyomi later in the day after Kazama's check up. Haruto learns of Surgery.

Saturday September 26th: Kiyomi hits Yuzuki. Declares her love for Kazama to Yuzuki.

Sunday September 27th: canned peach plan, canned peach plan fails. Haruto and Kiyomi see Yuzuki and Kazama smiling about something. Kiyomi decides to give up.

Monday September 28th: Kazama returns to school. Him and Haruto talk on the roof where Kazama reveals that Yuzuki was smiling and laughing because of Haruto. Kazama also reveals that he's going to get the surgery to prove to himself that Yuzuki wasn't with him only out of pity.

Tuesday September 29th: Kazama's party before he gets the surgery. Yuzuki and Haruto goof off in the kitchen. Kiyomi tells her feelings to Kazama. Kazama tries to have Haruto go out with Kiyomi.

Wednesday September 30th: Kazama gets the surgery. It lasts 10 hours. Shortly after that his body couldn't handle the surgery and his heart gave out.

Saturday October 3rd: Kazama's funeral.

might be some discrepencies with the last few dates. We don't know how much time passed between when Kazama returned to school and when they had the party.

you know, the fact that Seo actually remembered to put in a day off for Autum Equinox Day makes me think he might actually be putting some thought into this instead of just writing. It seems so insignificant but he remembered to put it in.

That wasn't what i was getting at. At the time i was only really trying to just make a timeline. The other thought came later. actualy the dates are accurate. The Equinox did fall on a tuesday last year on the 22nd. It's just a matter of putting in the dates for the other events after that.

If it's a natural progression, then I won't have any qualms. They do have good chemistry, but I think the two of them would butt heads too much. So if they do go out, it'd probably fail.

Shiho will return when Haruto get's a job. Just wait, heh.

I wouldn't mind some flashbacks to give light to Yuzuki's actions after she saw Haruto with Nanami to the time when Haruto met her in the hospital.

I don't think they'll butt heads the same way. Haruto and Kiyomi are two strong characters who may conflict with each other.

tears start to drop from Eba eyes,haruto felt sad to see her tears and comfort her by saying that she had nothing to do about it and he said another few things and i think he cleaned her face from tears

after that they were walking,Eba face still the same sad face,haruto tried to talk to her he talked about plants in the park they were in it and something about sakura trees

mmmmmm and then Eba rushed to astairs haruto rushed after her she was just watching the city from above and show haruto an area or something like that that its too expensive and she talked about hiroshima and how the sakura there is very beautifull
and she want to be surronded by hiroshima's sakura or something like that

she turned towards haruto and give him alittle smile

aaaaand she walked away to home and turned around to haruto and say good-bye while she is smiling

omg.... i was expecting kyouske to live through the surgery... not a huge shock but bigger than anything kouji seo has given before. the manga does need a few surprises here and there and this is one of them i guess... R.I.P Kyouske.... Also the ending of that chapter was really touching T.T

Makes no sense for her to just never talk to harutard again. Yeah kazama is dead but for a final goodbye it seems that harutard is just taking it.. considering how he abandoned everyone for her it just doesnt seem true.

Im not surprised by that last bit of info. This is not out of the ordinary for Yuzuki. If the spoilers are true. The key point is she clearly blames herself because Kazama waited so long to have the surgery. Nothing anyone says or does will help her get over this guilt.

It does make a little sense like i stated above. If she truly believes its her fault that Kazama died she could be thinking that she doesn't deserve to be with anyone let alone Haruto. I wouldnt be surprised if she disappeared for a while. Guilt over another persons death can really take a toll on a person. Even if she pushes Haruto away "AGAIN" he will chase after till the end of time. So matter what eventually they will talk again but we may have a break between them speaking and the next few chapters may only focus on Haruto and how hes getting through his daily life after Kazama's death and Yuzuki's shutting him out again.
