While looking at flashback about Medaka and Zenkichi it's was very interesting that they both were lonely at young age but what also saw was that Medaka has also two younger siblings and also I want know if it was Zenkichi with bear and also it showed also that Zenkichi maybe abnormal to think a 5 year old playing some very hard game like that chain game which Medaka got easily but that also showed that in that chapter showed that Zenkichi and Medaka changed totally opposite of what they were in that chapter we saw care free Zenkichi and depressed Medaka but that if also look at their fight can she that Zenkichi is indeed equal to Medaka in fighting. But my question is that kid with bear is that Zenkichi or not?

Actually, we can't say they're equal in fighting. Medaka is currently handicapped with being tied up in a straight-jacket, so she can only use her legs to fight. So, she's holding her own against him with just half her body... Don't think I could call that equal.

I've been learning Japanese for a week or so now...so don't put 100% certainty into what I'm about to say. But I'm pretty sure...

The name tag that kid with the bear has reads "Ku-Ma-Ga-Wa-(can't read the rest..). Not saying that this is the Kumagawa that we know...but I could see it happening.

I had a feeling it was him as soon as I saw the doll myself. So Zen, Kumagawa and Medaka go WAY back and they were all in the same hospital for some reason. And it seems Kumagawa met Medaka before Zenkichi did.

And this too throws a whole new set of possibilities into the mix. For instance, the IQ Test that Zenkichi was playing with in the chapter AND if you look back at what Kumagawa was playing with in that flashback chapter about "Akune the Destroyer" they look the same. Which could be the author hinting that Zenkichi, Medaka, and Kumagawa knew each other from the beginning. That would also explain why she feels bad about what happened with Kumagawa, not because she couldn't save a person but because they were friends and she couldn't save him.
Or it could be a coincidence that he was playing with a similar IQ Puzzle..

What also saw in this chapter was kumagawa and Zenkichi when they where little are much like "maybe they are related but what I also want to know is that how medaka and Zenkichi changed their personality vica versa when Zenkichi became cold heart personality and Medaka with that carefree personality which we could see that had not when she was young maybe it was Kumagawa and their history which may have left them totally changed when Kumagawa was send troops to destroy Kumagawa one of them Akune and also I think we could see Kumagawa as mastermind of flask plan instead of chairman and also think relationship between him and eating bitch Shiranui.

What's with that hospital anyway. Were they all sick or something, or was this some sort of genius testing?(I'm leaning towards the latter) But that theory falls a bit when you bring the previously "normal" Zenkichi into the scenario.

So Medaka and Misogi met before Middle School, now that's an interesting twist. Zenkichi called him a "Born Loser", the guy who always lost to everyone in everything. And considering he seems so negative now, it looks like he wasn't spared from defeat as a child. If there's any character I want to know more about it's Kumagawa.

And it looks like this is where Medaka met Zenkichi. I wonder if this is where she starts "dragging him around" as he put it.

Hmm this looks like a very entertaining chapter on top of building back story and plot developments. Kumagawa appears yet again but I'm surprised they met so early on in their lives. This arc has done a good job of building the characters and plot up. I've been enjoying it so much but I'm curious about how much longer it will go for. Still quite a few things to wrap up and deal with.

At any rate, it looks like Medaka may have finally came to her senses at the end of the chapter but I'm not sure. If that is the case, I'd hate to be Miyakonojou right now. His ass is about to get beat lol.

She even said herself that she knows fighting him is meaningless because he can't win, and her movements are sluggish because of the drugs. The whole time she's just trying to regain her memory while fighting him.

They brought kids there because of their [suspected] abnormality. Like Medaka said, the whole hospital's probably a prelude to the Flask Plan. Though the doctor say Kumagawa's normal and didn't have to visit the place again.

Zenkichi says that kumagawa was born a loser, but if he's a true loser, then how was he able to become the student coucil president during middle school. there must be some reason behind everything that has happened up until now. it mightbe possible that kumagawa is somewhere in the school, hiding and plotting something. Also, the abnormal zenkichi fought, "Last Carpet", said that medaka's brother killed the school chairman with his devil whisper. i feel like the current chairman is a pretty evil person, but the thing that makes me curious is zenkichi's friend, the loli. she said that unlike the abnormals she doesnt want any friends at all.

I brought up that same question once, and this is what I came up with. My guess is that maybe no one ran against him. Winning by default is basically saying "you didn't have an opponent". You can't really say you won unless there was someone to beat, someone to overcome. If no one ran against Misogi, then his victory was basically a failure in itself.

What seems to be abnormal about Zenkichi is how much influence he has on Medaka. She's someone who basically dominates others and has them come to her side, while Zen, with just a few words, manages to make Medaka do things. He said she was born to help others, so that became her life's purpose. He was able to snap her out of her rage during the Unzen fight. He was able to help her regain some memories here, possibly.

Something else I've noticed is that we still haven't gotten a clear view of Kumagawa's face, even the young version.

i think its medaka's mother who died. kumagawa must an abnormal who has nothing and wants nothing, he wants to see the world become nothing like him. zenkichi says that kumagawa is a born loser, he probably got that from kumagawa himself.

Her comes question what do you think is Zenkichi abnormal and WHY?

My answers is that Zenkichi abnormal got to do with influence and that he can influence people smiliar to when he changed foe in friend in his fight against "The killer" but also he has this strange connection that draws people near him that maybe like Loli who use his always follow him and also he is key to Medaka life purpose and he was the founder of Medaka "way" of life and also one of part of his abnormal is that can cloak him as normal person.
