Is an original series written by Takahiro Sakai(Akame ga Kill, Majikoi) and illustrated by Bunbun(sword art online). It also has a manga adaptation going on and a 4koma series as well.


Sumi Washio is a 12 years old middle school student who was chosen by Taisha and organization that works for Shinju, a kami, in order to protect the world from destrucion.

She along here 2 friends Gin Minowa and Sonoko Nogi team together to fight the menace known as Vertex.


This series has an on going sequel known as Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru which also has a manga and 4koma series.

In regard to Washio Sumi, her only sacrifices to Shinju are the function of her legs and several years of memories.
Since she still can lead a normal life, she will be returned to the front once the Vertices appear again.

According to chapter 8 preview on the website, Sumi's first fairy is a "round one". Her new weapon is a silver rifle so Sonoko named it Shirogane. Sonoko's fairy is a Karasu Tengu.
