So, what's the word on the Hiroshi matter?
Episode 4: Was Michiko just looking for someone who's familiar with Hiroshi, get to know more of him/his past? Or hasn't this been Hiroshi in episode 3 and she's actually still searching for him? Still confused... |

I think she is in denial. She was more interested about learning information about Hiroshi than finding where he was. She was not looking for him, but she wanted to know about him. This is the first time we see her getting drunk so in my opinion, that guy was hiroshi.

Ah, you mean, she got pretty shocked how about Hiroshi turned out to be after she found him? So, she still thinks (subconsciously maybe) "her real" Hiroshi is out there?
Or do we interpret too much and the answer is just a simple one? |

Why can't we just talk about the anime? Edit: Ep. 4 was a 10 and very sad ending.

There's also a long history concerning African slaves in Brazil. It's one HUGE aspect of its culture, just the way African Americans are in America.
Also, I sorta had to laugh when the pimp in the newest episode referred to the city as a Favela/Slum. Well, that about solves it. So they're in a slum after all. Seriously, if some producers had to research things about Brazil, one of the most intriguing aspects of its past is in its slums, as unfortunate as that is. It's sort of like the way Indonesia and Phillipines are getting all the intrigue not due to its high class society (in which there's little of outside the richest of cities), but the way most people live it out. Even with China, the situation is the same for the majority of people. That said, I'm also glad to see Lima's story and how they're struggling through life through poverty. Even the Chinese restaurant being called 'super high class' gives me the snickers since it'd be considered a rathole in just about any 1st world nation. |

@ZODDGUTS: Of course, like golthin stated, you should call a girl a latina, if you're so inclined. But, honestly, when you speak face to face, you don't really have a need for such terms, now do you?
And well, since I haven't seen the 4th episode yet, I can't really comment, other than to say I'm loving the ride, so far.

Episode 4 was hecka tight. I hope that girl who supposedly got shot isn't
Spoiler:
But with the cruelty displayed in episode 1 I wouldn't be surprised if she was. Plus they shot her directly. This series is WET! Hot girls, ok story I guess, funny little tomboys and hot girls. The music in the strip club is bumpin!!! Makes me feel like hitting up a club (a regular one, not a strip one!)!! EDIT: And does anyone else find the random appearances of that little bald kid with the receding hairline EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!!!
