About me

I have learned photoshop over 2 years, yet i never serious in into it. i'm using it just to make homework from my school, like some worldmap,scans,etc. when i put my 1st foot on the internet world, i'm amazed by the image, designs, and wallpapers in this world. the next things i'm doing is join some active local forums in my country... well maybe u can say it, my college forums^^

in there i found my friends are into this sigs and avatars making, at first i'm not interested, but in the meanwhile i've been thinking into myself. maybe i'll look cool if i also do that too... i'm also imagining my arts will be used by somebody.

but i don't have any experience into this, even though i'm using PS for a long time i know that there are so many things PS could do, maybe i'm just using 5% of the PS function if i could say... then i'm trying to join some interesting forums, not local anymore maybe worldwide forums, coz i though that my skills could be improved if i could interact with many persons in another country. there again i meets many nice people who teach me a lot of things about PS [BD,Seph thx bro^^]

I loved to try many styles, so maybe u could find some similarity to someone sigs^^ i don't post all of my sigs here, since some are a failure or a test or maybe overlimit size. also when u look here i made many different size and styles of sigs so don't feel ankward.

I know i have a long way to go, but i want to improved myself, i also wants to meet many experts artist in PS so that i could learn a lot. Tutorial, critism and opinion are welcome, also tell me in what way i may improved, it will helps a lot in my project.

the first animated sig i made, nothing special just a blink eye

I'm trying a diffent styles this time, i got the idea when watching i watch Death Note. there i saw a rip of the books.

I looked in another forums that someone use this style, but with 3 image, i'm curious to try for it, so i apllied it in this image^^ i made the background with some random brushes, add some effect and voila !!

I saw this kind of style in my local forums, a big text could used for background too.since i'm too busy to made another background, i'm using my last sigs background

As for your sigs.


The render edges are somewhat jagged. Even the black stroke looks jagged. Other than the minor jagged edges the Text style is a bit odd to. But that is just imho. But it's a nice style imo.

I notice the lose of quality due to the 256 color limit from .gif
Best you can do is to save the sig in 3-4 parts to maintain as much as possible of the quality. For animated sigs you will also be able to reduce size that way. You can apply that to the blinking sig to. But the quality lose there is less notable.

Also notice your current sig looks somewhat odd. The quality seems to be very low on the background and the text. Somewhat blurred.

I would say this is the best of the sigs you posted.


But overall not bad sigs.

for this one, the text which is seems to blured is made to be that way.... cause i give it a sensation of cold and icy feeling into it... you know, you'll see something blured if there is too low temperature or something like that....



as for this one, i never though and never try to cut or divide any image... well no experince about that.... what tool should i use to got the max quality and presice ? rectangular or croping will do ? or maybe i should make the invicible background with the same color this forums has and save it as a jpeg file... never try it though...



maybe i'll add some layers and effect to make the rips to be more realistic... like a books maybe...but looking for this sigs has, it would likely looks like a bunch of coupon isn't it ? hahaha..... as for the jagged side, i'll try to fix it and keep it in my mind.

the slice tool is the best for chopping up siggies into fragments

here are some new Avy i made recently...still trying different style, now is the time for animated avy...it looks a bit jagged if u looks closely, but oh well... quite satisfied with the result

well, a new sigs i made for this week.... it's from an Eroge game^^... looks like i have to agree with someone.. this kind of game has many beautiful "shoujo" in it...can't refuse to made it into a sigs....



at first i want to add some energy ball in her hand, but it seems there's to many effect in it will make the image looks "full".... some empty slots may be also fit, but oh well...

Quite neat looking sig Runa. It does remind me a bit of V-boi last few sigs. But nice blending and nice bg. And meh, i like the idea of those frames ^.^ Definitely one of your better sigs. Just a minor thing imho is the bg being to vague. But that is just meh

did you mean Kureha ? it's from eroge game "Reconquista".... well, aside from swordmaiden... she use lance if i recall..... a type that klash love a lot^^

I like ur current sig, its got a nice overall look to it, and I c where sephi said it kinda has the same look as v-bois sig, if u saw it, it kinda does look similar
