It's probably this one:

Spoiler:

But it's just a pic, nothing else. Doesn't have a SECRET MESSAGE or something like that.

Of course there's a secret message. Clearly the outline on the sheep is really very small text which explains exactly how Lelouch survived.

That's what all the fuss was about? People really need to not read so much into random artwork lol. Was that even from Sunrise or was it fan made?

It's from Animage, as I recall.

It's not official, it's just a picture. If you had any doubts Lelouch is dead, C.C. saying it directly in the Zero Requiem DVD should be enough to remove them.

It's an official picture, I guess, in that it was made by Sunrise or whatever.

But it's not... indicative of anything, anymore so than any other promo pictures are.

i'm not so sure its an "official" picture (what ever thats suppose to mean) since it was probably commissioned by the magazine

but its not any more indicative then any of the other promotional pictures

Spoiler for pretty sure lelouch isnt going to marry all of them:

Spoiler for almost certain lelouch isnt back in ashford:

Spoiler for dont think the 4 of them would go out for a drink while lelouch was still zero and suzaku was still KoS:

Spoiler for and i'm sad to say that the "HAPPIEST" of endings is no longer possible:

all and all the poster is there to sell the magazine
nothing more
and C.C's final monologe (released in the SPECIAL EDITION, a year after the end) makes it perfectly clear
may lelouch finally rest in peace without the really obsessive fans trying to dig him up every 5 minutes

What does C.C. say in said monologue? Haven't been able to find a fan sub even for the special edition, and I don't speak japanese lol.

- (#1) 「彼が、微笑を浮かべて逝ったことを。」 is very literally "He, that passed away with a smile." - C.C. has confirmed Lelouch's death.
- (#2) I can't get this line to make sense, and two of my Japanese-learned friends translate it very differently. The general idea is that Lelouch's passing left a deep sense of fufillment that only Lelouch himself, or people close to him would understand.
- (#3) Not sure which word is more appropriate here, but it might have been "praise" rather than "lament".

Haha! I know this is late, but I just cannot refrain from posting this..

Regarding the "(?)" in the Animage scan, for everyones' information, when parenthesis are used in a piece of writing, it means that the text inside the parenthesis is NOT in the original quote but comes from the writer's own mouth.

My gosh...you guys seriously didn't know that? Com1101, people..

Lelouch is very intelligent but he has physical and emotional weaknesses. Sometimes it looks like he's cold-hearted but he is not. A few decisions of his that are influenced by his emotions. Altough, he is one of the most intelligent anime characters, one of my favourites.

That depends. If dash~ meant that sometimes it seems as if Lelouch is a person without emotions and a total asshole, permanently, then there's really nothing to fix, and you're turning this into another point entirely.

...Okay, I must be seriously bored. xD

Edit:
Oh, and I'd say most of his decisions are influenced by his emotions, if not all. He's not a sociopath. Even when he chooses the path of the best strategical outcome, he does it for a reason other than "and another strategical outcome... moving on to the next one".

some of his actions are as cold blooded as it gets
the JLF thing is a good example
as is Z-R
dont get me wrong, he is often driven by his emotions
but some of the things he does make him seem heartless

Yep, but that doesn't make Lelouch a cold-hearted person entirely (this is what dash~ might have meant), as it might seem in some scenes if you look at them alone, and neither does it mean his decisions weren't influenced by his emotions. Quite the opposite, in fact.

thats what i added
i never claimed he is emotionless, nor that he isnt driven by his emotions often enough
but in some cases, he does things that make him no less cold hearted then he accuses britannia of being

Also, a lot of that depends on your definition of "cold-hearted". Charles is pretty cold-hearted in my book, because he is so focused on his plan that he really doesn't give a damn. Lelouch, on the other hand, may act like an ass, but most of the time, he still cares at some level. Zero Requiem, for example, must have been hard for him, because at that point, he wasn't driven by his hatred anymore, and he knew exactly what he was doing.
He was ready to become a demon even before, but it's clear he cared about people a lot more at the end of Code Geass than back then. Not that he wasn't being a bastard regardless, but "cold-hearted" implies a severe lack of emotions to me, be it anger or regret. And even though it might apply sometimes, it's one of the last words I'd use to describe Lelouch.

being well intentioned and hoping to create a better kinder world for everyone
and not caring how many lives he would destroy in the process

i'd say that its pretty cold hearted no matter how you look at it
as cold as charles or shnizel were in THEIR attempt to do the same thing

cold hearted does not mean emotionless
he still has emotions
he just doesnt let them get in the way

A definition of "cold-hearted" I spontaneously found, and which fits my personal interpretation of the word: "Devoid of sympathy or feeling".
Lelouch is more the Haku kind of person (random Naruto references are fun), killing his own heart.
Charles, on the other hand, and even Schneizel... not really the most emotional people around. Certainly less emotional than Lelouch, at least.
