New intro and outro!! Im not sure what I think of them yet, but I recorded the episode so I will watch it again, a lot of times, because episode 78 is one of the BEST ever!!!! So cool! Gonna watch it again, see ya!

The new OP is gay, I'd rather them do a remix of either the first one or second or even the third. The song, the animation. Just stupid. You'd think with this long to do something it would be good.

Well, I just had to wonder after watching episodes 74 to 77: Why is the old geezer still a live? It is almost as if this old one is enjoying the penetration of a "sword". I understand that the portrayal of the story is to show that all the events are occurring at the same time. That doesn't mean the old man is needed to be shown in a 5 to 10 second span in every episode where "the knife goes in, blood comes out". Kill the dorky geezer already or dont show him at all to waste valuable beating time which can be used in for Gaara's crushing Sakura-chan or Gara's strangling a bunny. Last part is a wishful thinking which does not involve any Evil Bunny.

Blah. I think they should time the new opening and ending songs just right instead of throwing them in randomly.

That's what I thought too, then they could have used some memorial hokage sequencences in the opening (or ending). Plus it makes for a more distinct separation of the arcs. I need the raw...

My opinions on the new OP and ED..

The OP sounds and looks livelier than the last one, IMO. The song's alright.. I'll just have to watch it over and over again 'til I like it. Itachi, Kisame, and Tsunade [and Shizune + piggy] are in it.

The ED is okay. Not my favourite.. but it's better than the last one, IMO.

Wow just saw this episode! It's easily the best episode so far! I'm relieved that they didn't try to strech it as much as they could like the last 5-10 episodes. The new OP was ok, wasn't anything special like the first 2 OP but it will grow on you like the last OP. I didn't like the ending very much tho.

Do we get a good look at Itachi? So far in the anime he's always been partly shadowed. Sounds cool though, lots of new characters animated, can't wait. I guess there'll be lots of threads regarding these characters from non manga readers.

Well you don't get to see his face but you get to see the 2 of them in their jacket or whatever in the opening.
