As shown by the above example, Kanade herself doesn't have any regulations in the first place, otherwise she wouldn't be able to murder someone just for fun.

So... with all of episode eight done and done, what's people's opinion on Kanade?

Personally, this episode made me like the Evil Tenshi clone idea, which I previously wasn't sure if I did or not. It was executed well, offered a reasonable explanation for why Evil Tenshi was so agressive, and offered us some delicious foreshadowing of Kanade with emotions.
Though I think alternatively, it would've been cool to have all the Evil Tenshi Absorb into one separate Tenshi, with all the emotions but less of the agressiveness. The normal, subtle emotion Kanade, combined with a Tenshi with plenty of emotion would've made for some nice character interaction.

After reading the extended version of the lyrics, I really think 'My Soul, Your Beats' is a biographical song about Tenshi. I guess we'll see. If Tenshi fades away at the end of the story then it is. (For reference here are the translated lyrics.)

I think the whole situation was clearly explained, Otonashi himself asked to prove it. He said that if he is already dead, than he won't die again. How else did you imagine her to prove the reality to him? She did what he asked for, she didn't attack him for no reason.

All this time she tried her best to help others and did what had to be done(even though in wrong way which lead to missunderstandings), that is exactly same situation. Would it make a difference if she shoot him instead?

Besides what she meant by defence type is that it isn't powerful enough for attacks, otherwise she might have broken the door by pure power back then in cell.

And I'm pretty sure that Yuri and her gang probably would do same thing to him eventually or they would shoot Hinata or someone else to prove the point of them being dead already.

Again? I'm quiet sure the biggest part of shounen is full of powerful guys and girls in distress. Of course the are some powerful females but mostly they still end up getting their asses handed to them so I really don't get your complain here.

And somehow I think that they all are around 15-18 here, so they are not little.

Yeah. That is pretty easily explained why she did that. How do you prove someone can't die? You inflict a fatal injury (Or in Kanade's case; summoning hand sonic and impaling him through the chest.)

Because everyone has it engraved in their heads because of Yuri she is a executioner sent by God to keep everyone in line. She can be considered a vigilante; but I think that title belongs more to Naoi Ayato rather then Kanade Tachibana.

What powers? The only girl I see with powers is Kanade; and that's because she was trained by Tassador and Artanis.

They all have a super power: They can't die. Including girls and boys. Though I can understand what he means. I think. Kyero is like that.

in ep 5, the moment that kanade mentions what her name is, the music picks up like its trying to tell us something.
its hard to describe, but for some reason, it FEELS the same way as the color wash in haruhi and Clannad.

as if until the moment the lead met the girl, the world was a place of monochrome, and only once meeting her does the world start looking colorful.
except that it tenshi's case, its not the color thats returns, its the music.

which fits fairly well with her overall music theme
her name means playing music, her powers are named after sound effects (sonic, distortion, harmonics), and the intro has her playing a piano through out.
so it makes sense that the first real time otonashi (soundless) talks to her, the music comes back.

well I see in some pics of angel beats that kanade has some kind of darkly colored hair band on the back of her head, I don't see the hairband in pics where she faces the front, if someone could link/show some full profile pics of her (front/back) so I could be sure how she's wearing it that would be great lol
