The combination of Hino Satoshi and Iguchi Yuka drew me in... And it doesn't hurt to have likeable character designs

But I'm REALLY not too hot on a revisit to the whole "Opposite Gender Fears" and "Crossdressing" and "Closet Sadist" device again- I'll watch it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Actually, everything is in reverse.

This time it's the guy that's afraid of the opposite gender, and the girl that is crossdressing... The last two shows were the other way around

While I do believe that the point of shows is for characters to grow, at the outset, I don't think Kinjiro is too bad. He's quick on his feet, aware of his own problems, and as much a victim of circumstance as he is himself. There's more to being a man than being masculine.

its hard to judge from the first episode, but so far is pretty good, i somehow get a nyan-koi feeling from thuis series, and thats great since i loved nyan-koi.

I'm glad this episode delivered! I've been looking forward to this day for so long. I liked both the opening and ending a lot and I thought the animation was awesome. It was entertaining and it fulfilled me!

I don't think I'm going to enjoy the violence so much. Otherwise, it seems entertaining. I like all of the character designs too, so this will probably be a good watch.

I don't like it when a series pushes a girl so much though...

My all-time favorite director. And like all court jesters, Kawaguchi has one of those fancy hats a unique style of eyecatches and a brisk, lighthearted, exaggerated style of showmanship that won me over when I was but a newbie, and continues win me over now, less a newbie but still learning. The show does indeed feel like LvB in atmosphere (with the rich school and all), but everything else has been turned on its head. Kinjiro can put up a decent fight despite his phobia, Kureha is way peppy for a Kana Hanazawa character, Subaru's utter seriousness in the face of absurdity makes her a great foil (I've never heard Iguchi use a deep voice like that before) and Kanade is just wacko. Any show that has Kamen Rider references in its first episode can't be too bad, I say. (Kougami's gotta be financing this school.) The OP is pretty hummable, the ED's not bad either.

To bad this show doesn't have as much nudity (yet anyway). :/ I really hope the male lead wont stay a submissive idiot with a phobia for women for 12 episodes though, it's a big no no for me personally. Weak male leads just destroys any decent harem anime, and he really needs to bitch slap the little sister, ASAP!.
