Thanks.

Tried my hands on panorama photography on my Vegas trip as well. Actually for the first time ever. It's shot hand held and I went a bit overboard with the image amount. It's actually composed of 22 pictures despite of only about 190deg field of view. I had almost completely forgotten that I took these thus the delay.

As always click for full res version. It's about 32Mpxl though so the size is roughly 16MB.

Nice photo of the desert. I've always thought of deserts as some of the most beautiful places on earth and I think you did an excellent job of capturing that beauty in that photo.

I agree about deserts being some of the most beautiful places. Or actually not exactly deserts but all untouched wildernesses. And thanks. I'm actually fairly pleased how that turned out. It needed some love and care and the focusing issues that I had with the camera don't show too badly.

Anyway. 1000th post so thought I'd waste it posting a few freebie sigs.

Not using it anymore though.

For a change tried to put some thought and effort to a sig and I think it actually shows. I'm quite happy with it.

I love the colors of the siggy. So brilliant and colorful. :3

Very nice as always escimo.

Do you know what the plants in some of the last few photos are called. They peeked my interest.

Why don't you give it a go. You'll never know what you'll end up with.
And thanks!

The answer would be pine. In more and less recognizable form.

And some more photos. Just wondered around with my camera for an hour or so. Ended up shooting a lot of seagulls. So here are the better ones out of almost 300 RAWs.

Great new set of photos! I loved the ones with the birds, they looked so alive. How the heck do you manage so good photos of the flying ones, gotta love those!

I think i know the place where some of the photos are taken as well xD Unless i have a very bad memory or most of the places in finland looks like that xD

That was my hunch. The last photo was a bit less distinguishable due to the lighting, so I just wanted to make sure.

Loved the architecture in your recent photos there, especially the 2nd photo with the statues (they have good contrast against the backlground with their color). Where were those taken?
