Well, I've not tried the former game so I can't say. But if you are fighting against the CPU, the charge attack can negate projectiles once it charges up. Yuuno is vulnerable during the charging motion though.

Hope it is not much of a spoiler, but the materials are their own person and have their own unique personality, hoping to achieve their ends and cause as little harm to others as possible. Their actions in teh first game is explained as they had just awoken from sleep and thus could only focus on death and destruction.

Have only played one round with him buuuuut, his shoot tracks the opponent longer than the others, his triangle attack is a body slam and most of his combos push away the opponent and his bind pulls him toward them. Pretty tricky but I think I just need to get used to him.

Sounds like a tricky fighter but one who can make imrpessive stuff if well used, he seems to be profficent in disrupting combos or attack patterns. Those are very troublesome when you face someone experinced with them.

Even more so than the "remote-controlled" Accel Shooter or auto-homing Swallow Flier?

I know that game-balance means not everything should be taken seriously, but they still TRY to make everyone more-or-less as they should be (hence, Yuuno's defensive style and abilities). So Yuuno's shooting spell might be remote-controlled (like Chrono's Snipe Shot) or auto-homing.

Sounds like someone who might survive a first encounter with Vita, now doesn't it?

Except that's not the part I quoted, because I understood that part.

What I don't understand is why it matters that Hayate had only met Material D a few months ago.

Picture this: I walk up to someone and call them by name, but it's not him, it's his seperated-at-birth twin brother. And he's like, "No, I'm the twin brother."

And I ask him where his seperated-at-birth brother is and he's like, "Well, I met him a few months ago."

...And? That's not a punchline.

What's the joke? "I met and destroyed her a few months ago, so she's not around anymore for you to meet?"

Or "I only met her a few months ago, and I have no idea where she's gone since?"

The "joke" is that Kyrie got it wrong, and like everyone in Battle of A's, attacks Hayate. Hayate, after being defeated, explains that material D is no longer "alive" and that, if you remember, Kyrie comes from the future.

Ergo she got the date wrong (no she didn't as revealed minutes later)

So as far as I understand, there are 15 Sequences to play through (14 plus one X), and a grand total of 105 possible storyline battles.

To emphasize, the U-D boss battle has two parts to it, and (I think) all of the characters have a go at her in one or the other part, but not both. I think.

Sequence X comes after everything else. Seems like you play as ユーリ.

I have no idea what to make of that.

More seriously, Hayate is technically the most powerful (human) caster we know of in the Nanohaverse to date. Yeah, she has crappy melee, but her ranged casting is SS-rank.

Im stuck in the 6th stage. I cant defeat her with lize and lotte.
She can chain combos very quickly.
With acs they improved her melee.
