True enough... although I don´t think we´ll see it that explicit in the episodes themselves. Well, Kawamori could surprise us... I thought the Ozma / Cathy flashback scene was nicely explicit, after all.

That hugely depends on the anime. Let´s see if I remember correctly series which didn´t have any sex implied.... Full Metal Panic ( first series ), Escaflowne, Macross 7 ( original series ), etc. etc... the list goes on.

Sure, there are enough series where sex *is* implied, if not outright shown, but Macross Frontier goes more into the mold where we have teenagers blushing at each other. The only explicitly implied scenes were CathyXLeon and CathyXOzma.
