Eh, not all Nanami fans are like that. I personally like Nanami, and don't mind that she doesn't end up with Sorata. Shiina is a pretty good character in the context of the story, but the show made her blatantly obvious as the "winner" so the romance portion of the story was uninteresting to me but the character interactions and development more than make up for it.
A short summary of Rita's viewpoint of Sorata(minus the nice guy part):
He's a herbivore so he won't do anything.

Well...

1. Guess that's how they somehow make this 24 episodes by spreading out the "find Mashiro" story quite a bit...
2. Poor Nanamin, it's as if she let Mashiro win...
3. So, the long awaited graduation next episode, 24 = what'll they do? Put Vol. 7-8 (or 9?), mesh them, and somehow end this? I just don't see Season 2 (Not b/c of BD sale...that's another story. Just the way they let the story goes)

Not exactly what I meant, more like I'd like to marry my best friend, which is pretty much Nanami for Sorata. I mean don't get me wrong Shiina is cute, but I wouldn't want her 24/7.

Two volume in one episode would not make any sense. I'm betting that it'll just tease a little about some new settings and characters from vol.7 and on. It could work as an ending, and it leave the show open for a potential second season as well.

Calling someone a best friend that was not until long ago just a classmate is a little too exaggerated.
And I would not want to marry my friend for the simple reason becasue he/she is just my friend and not the one I love.

People marry the one they love, except if they are forced to marry against their wishes.

Just lets move on from this silly debate.
