I was checking out this manga since I love zombie related stuff and I couldn't place my finger on it, but the art was incredibly familiar.

Chapter 6 during the bath scene I realized who the artist was and the masterpieces he has done and I must say I have become more of a fan then I previously was.

This manga is the only other manga I've ever read in my life, the other being Love Hina when I finished the anime series, and it is probably the most awesome work of fiction I've ever seen in my life. This show needs to get animated.

Chapter 19 was pretty well done. Am I the only person who thinks that Asami might have a dependency problem? It just seems like she will more than likely join up with the group, more so now. Side note: Hirano has become awesome in the recent chapters.

Rei is pretty much going to snap pretty soon(I'm still not sure what she meant when she said that she knew what happened between Saeko/Takashi in chapter 18) which will probably cause some kind of major incident which may result in someone's death. Funny thing surrounding Takashi is that at least three of the woman in their group are attracted to him(Rei, Saeko, Saya).

About the thing he did. She probably meant the way he held saeko in the chapter before that. (Groping her breasts and all) but not wanting her to go, i can sort of see why she would get pissy, but it could be something else.

In case nobody knows, Highschool of the dead is a light novel series. I'm not sure if the manga is based off it though.

Anyways, its serialized in DRAGON Magazine. I think like 4 novels have been published.

Highschool of the Dead is serialized in Dragon Age, but no, it's not a light novel. And yes, 4 volumes are out.
There is no Highschool of the Dead light novel. Not even something called that of a different series.
