Best Character

Wufei just talks BS from 1-49 of GW and then 1-3 of EW.

Duo and Heero are liked IMO because theyre very different from the typical angsty emo teenage pilot that the Gundam series usually crap out. They just go out there and kick ass.

Hmm, now with the news of Strike Noir MG-fied...

Hell, I would have loved Kira much more and put him on the list of 'best characters' if he was the pilot of the Strike Noir and the latter being the most powerful mecha in SEED history.

I just don't understand how Dorothy became insane and became a war freak...Cinq was also a pacifist kingdom, or so what I remember...maybe it had something to do with her grandfather perhaps? Disillusioned with what happened after Duke Dermail became evil or some other (I forgot)? It wasn't enough that she became crazy enough because of just that in order to control a platoon of Mobile Dolls. But still, I liked her character better than Relena's...go figure.

Of all the Wing Gundams, I like Nataku the least. Altron was cooler. But the coolest for me design and pwnage wise: Deathscythe Hell Custom and Wing Zero Custom. They haven't failed me, not even once, in SRW...*sniff* Sandrock was just too weird for me, I wonder how he could slice things up with those heat shortels of his...O.o;;

Amuro
Char
Shiro
and Uso

I would rank Char over Amuro if he weren't kinda insane in CCA, trying to drop axis on earth trying to kill millions (and probably his own sister) just because they have different beliefs than himself sounds a lot like Hitler to me.

I very much agree. Wufei's insanity is sort of easy to figure out: he's operating on principles that simply don't fit within the Wing universe. Otherwise, he's just a rather standard wuxia character. Dorothy, on the other hand, is a much more interesting character, and her peculiar insanity manifests itself in rather entertaining ways. I wouldn't be overly concerned by why she's like that though; after all, pretty much all the characters in Wing are nuts to a greater or lesser degree. I believe that Sally Poe is the only significant character that's free from that particular vice.

I believe that it's mostly because of the way he initially presented himself in Mobile Suit Gundam: a no-nonsense combat veteran who simply didn't give a damn about precocious teenagers, friends, family, or anything else. He had a suave mystique that had no room for anything other than a one-minded obsession with his ultimate goals. Of course, he's nothing like that in the latter parts of MSG or any other Gundam work, but that's hardly going to stop people from liking him.

Seriously though, maybe it's because he was the villain that every masked man was modeled after: a lot of them try to be like Char, but there is only ONE Char. Classic Gundam villain.

Sven. I think he has an awesome origin and finally a revenge character in C.E. that could also be heroic. I just hope that the stargazer OVA can parlay this character into the main universe.
