Till now we saw 3 new episodes , what do you think about market strategy that kadokawa used for this season? I mean make air-time for new episode as secret when they start this season with re-run...

Is it work well (fan uproar, more viewer) or not ?

It'll work until they abruptly stop or quite randomly do not show an episode for one week.

Well... they could always just air 20-something minutes of a boat when they get to that point

Could Disappearance or sigh be shorter then the estimates, to allow for a couple episodes?

Possibly. And knowing the order of the first season and how erratic it was, they could omit some old episodes.

SMS is pretty well tied directly into the Vol. 7/9/10 arc, so I can see why they'd omit it.

Sighs COULD be cut down to three episodes. COULD be.

Doubtful. The four unaired remaining episodes were the best episodes of the first season.

That's saying a lot when you consider Someday in the Rain to be one of the best.

Well where else could you just sit and watch the Great Goddess reading without some pesky story or dialogue getting in the way?

Does an anime episode not based on the source material but written by the original author count as "filler?"

That would be a NO!

"Filler" as in "this really doesn't advance the plot or characters in any way".

It was still a great episode, but it was filler. (Didn't I just say it was one of my favorites?) Filler doesn't have to be anime-only material, ya know.

At least that one had a plot.

But if you want to get technical about it, most of the non-main arcs are filler.

It was essentially Melancholy squeezed into a baseball story. I'd hardly consider that a "plot."
