Typical "boring song to boring still images" ED... but at least the idea is pretty neat. Yako walking through famous distorted paintings...

General fan reaction is that the fan-made flash movies are better for both OP and ED, heh heh... the "big shots" can certainly learn a thing or two from the fans.

I'm going to remain skeptical after the mess that was princess resurrection and claymore. So far only detractor was Yako's VA nowhere near what I had in mind but I guess it can grow on me. Neuro's VA works well along with the others. The part with the chef was cute since it had that Kuroyanagi vibe from Yakitate. Anyway decent start and hope it turns out well.

Wasn't really too overly impressed. It seemed okay, but the 'mystery' for the first episode was pretty painfully dumb IMO that it dragged a lot of the rest down.

They don't use the same first case that's in the manga? Sad... it really sets the mood of the series.

I hate the trend with Jump series nowadays where the first ep mangles the essential first step into the series. The worst case I can think of was Gintama. Skipped the first chapter in the first episode so the first episode was just plain terrible...

I haven't watched the first episode of Neuro yet, but hopefully it will go to the real first part of the story soon.

Yeah, they skipped ahead to the chef thing. The very end of the episode had the first part of chapter one though (Neuro meeting Yako).

Nice enough first episode. The animation was pretty good -- I like how Neuro would make random facial expressions when he was just standing around.

Oddly enough the preview for next week looks like a filler episode.

Hmmm well since Ive never read the manga I didnt know what to expect from this. For me it has potenial since I like this genre and I find Neuro interesting. I liked his seiyuu epsc jumping from the fun to the evil. So this stays on my too-watch list for now.

Silly human, Neuro loves eating riddles.

But, I will be glad if there is filler. This means they will actually try to cover the whole manga. Usually Madhouse series are very short, so it worried me that they got ahold of an ongoing Jump manga. I hope they don't stop halfway through. That would really disappoint me. I need something to keep me busy after Death Note and Claymore ended.

Well, I was surprised that they didn't start at the beginning of the story where Neuro meets Yako. But I'll settle with chef mystery, I guess.

Yako's voice sounds SO familiar to a certain character... Hmm... Can't quite put my finger on it...

Neuro's is a bit not what I thought.

The opening theme was chaotic, though not necessarily in a good way. The ending was meh.

Looks like the site that was listing Shinsen Subs&NEET as a subber now has Neuro listed with no subbers again. Guess it was a mistake? Or they decided not to do it?

In any case, Neuro is sub-less again, for now. No word about it on Shinsen's website, but NEET has expressed interest in subbing Neuro on their news page, so maybe they're doing it after all.

First of all, I haven't read the manga.

But I liked the first episode of the anime for now (understanding about nothing) , I like how Yako and Neuro interact, they're a funny team.
And I think Yako is cute.
But the best is how Neuro makes those random faces all the time.
I'm looking forward to a sub now.

I also liked the OP, but it's probably because I like this kind of music.
