yea i need your help finding some songs cause i watched a video on youtube which had some music that i wanted so if you have them could you help me get them for step mania?

Kotoko~Being Shakugan no Shana
Kotoko~Hishoku no Sora Shakugan no Shana
and The Songs for the DDR 1 and 2 for the PS2

That's probably some random stepfile someone made for it. The audio-video sync is so terrible for me on Youtube that I can't watch it properly. Anyway, what's up with the two hand thing on the keyboard? Isn't that kind of cheating?

No it's not cheating, in fact 98% of all players use two hands. if you're only using one hand how do you expect to pass songs like this?

edit: just watched that video , and Oh wow hahaha, the one he plays isn't the same file. He plays some piss easy one. The one i linked is much much harder than that. : D

It is possible to pass that song with one hand, but I'm not good enough to do that. What's the point of making stepfiles for things that are physically impossible to do on feet? Might as well make Beatmania files...

Zalas: No, it's impossible to do something like that on feet. Completely impossible. These are simfiles made speficically for keyboard. Also: one hand is much slower than two, even when youre only playing index(2 fingers, 2 hands). Remember this is scrolling at C700, which is the equivalent of 700 BPM and the arrows are THAT close together. Thats not even mentioning the hand jumpstream and absolutely ridiculous patterns. If you think someone can do that with their feet you're crazy.

And zalas, just for reference the fastest SM files are much faster than the beatmania ones. :/

And that's my point. Why make DDR step files for things that are impossible to dance to? Making them into Beatmania files should be the obvious thing to do, since you expect people to play with their hands, anyway.

Probably DJ Sharpnel - Strangeprogramm. Don't bother to play it if you can't even press 3 keys a second on C650 - you'll only break your fingers doing so.

I recently installed Stepmania too! (I know.. im late..) I am now searching for Songs.

Anyone knows where to get things like anime music and others?
I am especially looking for DJ Sharpnel stepmania files too. I saw many of those on YouTube, but couldnt find any files to install.

Otaku's Dream is the homepage for lots of cool anime song packages (such as Jubo's, which is the best IMO). There are other ones that are nice, too, like U.K.U.G. (not in Otaku's Dream). You just need to look around

Here's a guide on Bemanistyle to tell you how to add songs, speedmods, themes, etc. Back when I was playing SM on a regular basis, this guide helped me out a lot, when it came to saving song records, folder customization, CCmod adding, and more.

I tried step mania and could never get it to work...I just stick with the goold old DDR at the arcade...I see people there they go on masters at the highest speed and get al perfects..then I get on their and can barely pass Standerd XD...Yeps...My sister is acually making me get better at it...She's one of them people that are like super good...and she's all like NO LITTLE BROTHER OF MINE WILL SUCK AT DDR!!! And stuffs...so she constantly takes me to the arcade and makes me practice....
