Dude, they always manage to show the strong opponents off in this show really well. I thought it was sick when kenpachi first choked him with his power, and now they stepped it up to that acid rain. Amazing.

They haven't managed to show enough yet, imo.

I am so glad they went to the upper level. With the black background, the rain looked so amazing. I am so glad ulq was my favorite from the very first time I saw him. Ichigo so just had a wtf moment.

P.S. I am so going to be wanting either an avatar or sig for ulq hehe.

I'm in awe that nearly the entire episode was spent on filler.

good filler. i'd rather have had that than another extended speech from ulquiorra about how futile strawberry's efforts were and how he was gonna kick strawberry's ass with words alone.

: Dramatic announcers voice: Now the real battle will begin. Will Ichigo be able to stop the powered up Ulquiorra, or will Ulquiorra save Hueco Mundo for lord Aizen? WHO WILL WIN?!?

While this is true, they still managed 2 chapters as expected. The thing is that Kubo's Bleach manga takes about 2 minutes to go through. So expect even more fillers D:

Run through the main battles at normal rate without the semi-filler, and by next month you'll run into another filler arc with MOAR Amagai and Muramasa types to waste your time to provide a content buffer zone...We just came out of a season and a half of that stuff; Wouldn't want that to happen too often, now would we?

I think I might actually prefer: full budget canon fights & slice of life filler arcs (that actually doesn't sound too bad) THAN interrupted canon fights and random filler arcs.

That's what a TV show is trying to accomplish.

ichigo's pupils dilating was the best .5 seconds of animation since the grimjaw fight.

give the animators a break already. it's not like you could go do a better job on your own anyway.

Yeah, 4real. Why not enjoy the show instead of trying to find flaws.

I never notice animation differences, unless it's -really- crappy. Call me crazy, but I really don't pay attention to that shit.

it was a compliment. ichigo vs gj was one of the most well animated battles of the series and its likely their going to make the upcoming fight just as fluid.

even if it was an insult, saying a viewer shouldn't criticize solely because he can't do any better than the work being examined is a little silly.

i know. but reading all the other posts in other episode discussion threads that bang on about animation and how poor it is (some deserved, mind)

Spoiler for withered arm:

can get a little tiresome. and yeah, i liked the grimmjow fight, too
