If I'm at home, usually I watch with headphones, because then you can hear the music and everything a lot better...plus then I won't disturb others in the house.
Anywhere else I usually watch without headphones, though. I watched most of Death Note in the dark....but for everything else I watch it with the lights on. |

I watched on DVD before, but after my brother kicked me out of his room, I'm stuck with the PC. And when there is some new shows on TV, that I didn't see, then I watch TV. But happens rarely.

I watch on the computer. I watch just about everything on the computer, I hardly ever fire up my TV. I'm a big geek, hehe. I used to have a bunch of computers stuffed with hard drives to share out the animes/videos/movies/music I have:
Spoiler:
But that was kinda ghetto so I spent about $10k to convert to a rack mount solution and build a newer, larger file server (14tb): Spoiler:
I stream the videos from the file server in that rack to various systems throughout the house. The main HTPC is in my basement. I watch videos with ZoomPlayer and output to a Sanyo HD projector shooting on a 110" screen: Spoiler:
I stood in the pic for size reference.. I'm 6'1" I use a USB-UIRT coupled with Girder for system and component control via a generic RCA universal remote. The projector is nice, but you need good light control. During the day if I open the basement sliding doors the sunlight comes in and the picture looks like crap. I wanna get a decent sized LCD to put in my living room so I can use that instead when I don't feel like watching TV in a cave, lol. That picture above is about as bright as I like it to be max, much more than that and you lose detail in the pic. Good thing about anime, it's real bright so it can tolerate it more hehe. |
