Gallin's power level is 26000. And he is still weak from being recently released.

Hendrickson becoming an ally, he could replace pride some what. He was a very prideful being and stuff. Regardless he was an enemy who caused a lot of suffering and killed many people and knights.
However He could also do a heroic surface latter on by defeating on of the 10.

Hendrickson as an ally I can see, but replacing Escanor? Before him showing up in the main series? Hope not. Also, I like how motherly Merlin gets with Arthur when Meliodas gets all pervy with Elizabeth.

Hendy becoming an ally seems like the most logical course for him; heck its the only reason to keep him around instead of just letting him die as a villain. Hope he's smart enough to disguise himself, because the response to th others seeing him will NOT be pleasant.

since it seems that he was actually the one being manipulated, he kinda redeemable. but only just a little.

I think introducing such high power level caps so soon won't do the series good. now its going to be completely illogical when the heroes multiply their power in a short amount of time.

I think the power level thing is only cheesy to people who are used to dbz, i guess kids of this generation might not even know dbz

Note that there isn't a full summary this time, but here's the info we've got:


-As the strengthened Escanor faces the vampire king, Merlin notes that Izraf's power level is 4890. However, that doesn't stop him from getting blown away by the sin of pride! It's revealed that Escanor's power is Sunshine magic. He gets stronger in the daytime, with his strength peaking in the afternoon (as evidenced by the fact that he becomes even MORE hulking during the fight with Izraf). However, he's at his weakest at midnight. He pretty much destroys Izraf with little effort, disintegrating him with a huge blast of sunlight! After the fight, he meets up with Merlin, who knocks him out with a powered-up version of Gowther's "Blackout" arrow. Apparently, it's to keep him from running wild while in his strongest form....

-Meanwhile, Gowther (in his giant armor) saves the weakened King and Diane from their vampire opponents. We then get a continuation of the scene between Mel and that vampire chick Gelda. We learn that Zeldris of the Ten Commandments was originally charged with executing the vampires, but chose to seal them instead, apparently for Gelda's sake (looks like she may or may not have had a past relationship with Zeldris, but nothing's confirmed yet). Afterwords, we see Edinburgh castle as the crater it became in the present time (looks like this was Mel's doing, to destroy all remaining vampires). It looks like the chapter ends with Mel saying that he's been a failure of an older brother to Zeldris (welp, at least we got THAT confirmed)....

Man, I so can't wait to see this fully translated!

Why he went so far to use so much power to get rid of vampires? I thought that in main novel this crater was foreshadowing something more frightening than that.

And by the way Izraf is nothing because of his power level. Well power levels make everything dull and simple.

Personally, I'm not bothered by it much this time around, since I thought it was pretty clear from the moment we saw Escanor's transformation in part 2 that he would make Izraf his bitch, heh.


Also, dunno if it helps any, but apparently Merlin comments that Izraf's level is pretty good..... for a vampire. Well whatever, I just want confirmation of Izraf's apology already, lol.

It's not boring , it's people being Idiots over it is all.

Because Nakaba is very well known for being a hardcore Dragon Ball Fan.
He admitted he even stole WSJ and skipped school to read it, over and over.The same chapter.
It's his stated dream to write a Manga like it and people like you aren't helping when all he wants from it is that people simply have fun with NnT which is what drives him.

Alright, translated Edinburgh 3 is out!


Looks like I got some of the spoiler info a little mixed up, though (not surprising though, since the pics were out of order at the time). So the castle destruction + the crater was a combination of Escanor's power and Gowther's powered-up Blackout, not Mel. And yes, Escanor most certainly DID make Izraf apologize..... though that didn't stop him from getting obliterated in the end, heh.


Also, interesting that Suzuki said that he was a bit afraid of including Escanor in the main story.... guess even the author realizes how freakin' OP the dude is, lol. But there's still the question of why the sin of pride is apparently an old man in the current time....?

I was under the impression that it was Meliodas who did that crater to kill that vampire. He was standing at the edge of the crater.
Escanor was standing high above those leftover structures on that double page spread. Also, they were on different sides of Edinburgh as noted by King and Diane who sensed their powers on different places.

Yeah I think that black beam thing was mel also man this was an cool side story can't wait the what ever the next side story brings as.

Looking back at the chapter.... yeah, you're right. Looks like the crater was indeed Mel's work. The castle itself was definitely Escanor, though. I mean, come on.... BOOM.

While checking out Galan's power readings, Hawk notices that the demon's magic power is zero. Regardless, Galan proves to be an extremely powerful enemy. Not only do Mel's attacks prove to be useless against his opponent, but even Diane (who's back to her original size thanks to Merlin,) gets countered when she tries attacking him with Gideon! Merlin, realizing that their opponent has a great wealth of battle experience, attempts to teleport the demon away. However, even THAT proves useless, as Galan merely jumps out of the magician's range when she casts the spell, then instantly sneaks behind her after her strategy fails! Mel's gang are truly in a pinch...!!!



....which makes me hope that this is the point Escanor returns to the main story, despite the author's supposed trepidation concerning the character.

One thing that bugs me about the third part of the escanor story. About half-way through the axe blade of his sacred treasure switched sides. Originally it was on the same side as the hand guard (Makes sense, that's how it's supposed to be wielded) But then later it ends up on the opposite side instead.

It's pretty inconsistent if you look at it. In the first chapter, when Meliodas was dragging the ST before they leave, it was on the opposite. In the 2nd chapter, when Meliodas left and scrawny Escanor was trying to lift it, it was on the same side. And when Escanor went full buff and reciting his poem in the 3rd chapter, it was on the opposite side. Chalk it up to Nakaba not knowing where to place the hand guard. Or maybe it's a feature of the ST?
