Faces could get a little "weird" at times too, as they can't seem to settle on FMP-style, CLANNAD-style, Haruhi-style or K-On!-style. At times, it was a mixture of the styles which resulted in something very different from the original Haruhi-style. Like CLANNAD-faces with K-On!-eyes.

Yeah, the acting also is like that of Clannad. It's more than the previous episode that Ikeda Kazumi made. It's a wonder. Considering the animation director's short career, to her, is animating something animating Clannad?
The animator that hadn't joined KyoAni yet when they were producing the old Haruhi, now is an animation director? It amazes me to see how time flies and how excellent she is.

Simply put, production time is consistency, and budget is framerate.
Even poor animation is costlier than a high-quality still shot.
