I bloody knew it the entire time. I was thinking:
"Hmm. . . Black hair, hidden face, and has a strong sense of justice, seemingly pops out of nowhere, and looks like no one we've ever seen before. That might be Hayate's brother. . . . . . NAH!!" *Sees last page of latest chapter* "I KNEW IT I FREAKIN KNEW IT!!! XD AND HE CROSSDRESSES REALLY WELL TOO!!!!!" Damn it's been such a long long time since this series has made me crack up like that. |

Title Page The manga that puts the romance in Romantic Comedy!
Spoiler for 442:
Oh Hata, never change. I like these all these call backs to the older, sillier HNG we've been getting lately. I wasn't expecting Nagi to turn up, but I'm pleased for some reason. Perhaps she'll say something to Ikusa next week. (Why do I get the feeling he's not being entirely honest?) |

For what it's worth, Hata's backstage yesterday confirms that we're getting a big announcement in Volume 40 which comes out 3/18 (He calls it "Very Important") I'm guessing that will be an anime project of some kind, but he also not so subtly points out that he's been added to the updated list of authors who will be putting out new manga for Shonen Sunday's 55th anniversary celebration.
A lot of the "new" manga announced so far are just spin-offs or like movie adaptions and stuff so I wouldn't get too excited, but it's still interesting. Perhaps we'll get the manga adaption of CTMEOY, or something...I'm leaning towards these being two different announcements instead of one big one but I can't really say for sure. He also makes it sound like we're getting more Lifesavers crossover stuff in this arc and mentions that it was really difficult to draw a naked man other then Hayate after all this time. |
