Again, it was all that I had hoped for. Seeing the shorter hair black hanekawa animated, makes my heart flutter.
I saw a lot of still shots and really far view points that I'm sure will be redone for the bluray, but it was good anyways. Really liked some of the new tracks they had playing, and again welcomed the return of the older tracks. The tiger's voice isn't what I'd imagined it'd be while reading, I still have to get used to it. I feel your pain. At least we're gona get it eventually. We'll get to see even more.

Have to say I'm really enjoying this so far. The conversations are back to being so much fun to listen to. Just back and forth talking that finds a way to be really engaging.
Senjougahara is one heck of a badass though. Just goes right ahead and has a handshake with Black Hanekawa despite the fact she'll get hit by that Energy Drain. Feel like this could have really gone on for a while if they had decided to fully show the conversation about what they disliked about Araragi . When he hears about all of this the agony will be killer . Just fun watching Senjougahara and Hanekawa interact.

BASED SHAFT! That shower scene
Of course, the rest of the episode was interesting as well. Both visually and audibly. I'm always amazed at this series' talent for making endless conversations of any kind entertaining. The combination of Shinbou and Nisio is really terrific.

Honestly I don't think the conversations in this episode held up to the lofty standard of the rest of the series. A bit too businesslike and straightforward. I didn't really notice it the first time through, but when I immediately watched the episode again I felt the slight twinge of almost-boredom. This isn't to say they're bad, just not good as they sometimes are in this series.

I do as well, but I don't think it's for the same reasons as Hanekawa.
Personally, I dislike how most seasonings taste. Hanekawa just sees no point. She doesn't care either way, and it just happens she didn't include seasoning because she doesn't have a preference either way. |

I really like the conversation in this episode. It truly reminds me why I'm so in love with this series. I also eat plain food but there is no any deeper reason than I'm just too lazy to use any seasoning.
Hanekawa: Even Araragi has yet to hoard this sleeping face all to himself. If this statement is true then does it mean that Senjougahara and Araragi still haven't slept together? Aww... I disappoint in you Araragi-kun.
