Weirdly enough, even though I don't like fanservice when it gets too much, HotD is so over the top in its particular setting I tend to like it instead. The combination of gun-fu, watermelons and zombies mix well.

agree 100% but there have been alot more series that have been screwed way worse than Kurozuka. at the moment im feeling really 50/50 how this will turn out all depending on which company gets it.

Same here. Although I probably watch HOTD as a way to whet myself up to watching a actual zombie movie. I can handle horror comics but not moving realistic pictures. And then there's the other thing. Why would you fight zombies dressed up like that and constantly upskirting. Yeah like that's going to stop zombies. |

the reason for this is that fighting zombies + pantsu makes the best zombie series ever possible.

The constant fanservice distracts me from the fact that I'm watching scary zombies. So instead of focusing on my fear (yeah I'm a chickenshit with horror) my attention is diverted to the sex. In short, HOTD is genius. Finish HOTD and maybe then I'll be able to move onto Nightmare on Elm Street or 28 days later. Though I reckon Romero would headdesk at the thought of the zombie genre being turned into gratuitous sexploitation. But then again, US has had it's fair share of this WTFery as well... I'm sure he the strongest candidate to take role as Rei (the male lead) considering good relationship with him and MADHOUSE.
