No surprise- After the success of the OreImo and Raildex games, LN adaptation PSP games seem to have pretty much become standard practice.

I agree with you, if a LN gets green-lit for an anime you can bet that a PSP port will happen soon after.

Generic yet endearing. I am not expecting much from this, except some light-hearted romcom fun, which I love if there is good direction and animation(the latter, proved to be good on the PV).

It seems like a nice, high-energy show and everyone is right about the nice production values. The designs are a bit strange for me, but I'll probably get used to it after the first episode. I'm looking forward to it.

Just something I noticed about these type of series: The guy is almost always herbivorous. Girl naked in front of him and he doesn't do a thing.

Given the premise that's already there and the fact that Okada is writing I say there's a 99.9% chance that this will manage to be incredibly demeaning to both sexes. I'm almost tempted to watch a few episodes just to see how far down that road it gets.

All Okada has to do is to make it fit into Anime format... She doesn't have to come up with new materials... Oh God I hope she doesn't need to come up with new materials...

Interesting fact about the voice actor's

Matsuoka Yoshitsugu who does the voice for Kanda Sorata also does the voice for Fujishima Narumi.
Kayano Ai who does the voice for Shiina Mashiro also does the voice for Shinozaki Ayaka.

Fujishima Narumi and Shinozaki Ayaka are each other love interest in Kamisama no Memochou.

It's an adaptation and Okada has a better track record for adaptations. Exceptions do exist ofc (Black Butler S2) but that was because she was given free reign to write anime original material. It all goes back to whether she can be restrained or not, be it the director or producer (e.g. Anohana) or within the source material itself.

Unless of course, the source material itself involves off the wall fanservice and exaggerated emasculation, but in that case that's more due to the director's interpretation .


As for the PV itself, it's well animated and the visuals are pretty nice for a JC Staff show. However, although it was pretty and reasonably well made, there isn't anything that stuck out as amazing and looked quite generic. The characters also seem quite textbook particularly the main girl (quiet, clueless type) and the main guy (spineless male). I could see this show go two ways - a nice, sweet but somewhat unimpressive romance with comedy, or full-out harem romcom. Not going to be continuing if it is the latter .
