Yui Hirasawa’s Beginner Guitar and Akiyama Mio’s Beginner Bass
K-ON! Let’s start a band (includes sheet music of the songs)

Cellphones of the K-ON Characters
Tuners
Mugi’s keyboard
Ritsu’s drums
Azu-nyan’s cup
Ritsu's pen and bag
Mio's headphones

Spoiler for for space. THIS IS MADNESS! NO! THIS! IS! MERCHANDISE!:
I believe this clearly explains why Lucky*Star with Konata as a "mascot" has been left in limbo. The art style and the ability to saturate the screen with product make these girls absolutely perfect for product placement.

(at least until the next 4-koma band of characters comes along.... such fickleness in the industry)

Some are rather farfetched or simple though. I could easily pick a simple pen, laptop, pitcher, rice cooker, yacht and a DAMN WATERMELON with the same model and colour and say it's the same as the one from K-On.

You know, this is why Japan has a more thriving tourism sector than the US.

According to the JT news: the otaku tourism sector hasn't decreased (It's still as booked as ever).

Those look like "garage kits" (which are often much better than mass produced) -- but sometimes those get picked up by the manufacturers. I could see some of the more spendy figure makers grabbing these for production.

Still waiting for a Ritsu+drums and a Mugi+keyboard .... eh?

Alter's Mio has been pushed back to Jan release?! ;_;

As long as Yui still comes in Dec, all will be good.

Hmmm... I'd rather it be late and them get it right (yeah, I have both Mio and Yui on order) Still hoping they'll pump out the other three (Mugi, Ritsu, and Azunyan).

"they" are mostly "western" anime fans with no clue about the land their anime comes from
