Been very interesting in this game for such a long time, and having bought myself a 360 not long ago, i can finally give it a go.

& oh my goodness do i love this game. I bought a copy on Thursday and i've been on it since. There's nothing better then a game that can only be played after fully working out how the battle system works. Before that i was having such a problem with the first boss in Chapter 1, though once i customized by weapons and learned everything there is to know at this point about the battle system, it was a piece of cake. You can't beat the satisfaction of beating a boss you've had such problems with the past.

Plus i'm a huge Steampunk fan, so i totally eat up the setting and imagery for this game. Plus it helps that the attire customization is just so fun, especially how adorable Leanne is. :3

I do have a question for anyone that can answer. Is there a reason why the game's title was changed from the Japanese one? I guess the same question can be asked for Leanne's name.

End of Eternity is a book from Asimov that is not related to the game so to avoid confusion between the two of them it was renamed.

Also Leanne sounds more "normal" than Reanbell to western ears.

Yeah i have the book, though i never thought it would be the reason behind the change. Makes sense though.

After all this time, I finally gave this game a go! It's a hell of a lot better than I had expected, the battle system was a bit of a challenge to master but now I feel I'm ready for anything! Still got a few questions though

1) Where can I get deep green u-shaped hexes? (the ones you use for forest of idols). I've checked my bestiary and it has no entry that drops it, I had found quite a few in boxes but now I'm all out and I need a few to open up the road to basilica and crank seminar.
2) Do you guys take a character and equally level up their weapons (i.e. higher level->more HP/weight capability), or do you focus on a single weapon for the added charge effects?

IIRC Shady thugs on Level 4 drop them.

It's better to change their weapons since there are times that you lack your three characters and the faster Zephyr can learn to wield a machine gun and a pistol the better.

Also talking about this game, people should check the Famitsu web manga even if its in japanese. Nothing beats Zephyr on a maid outfit, yes
