Well 1 each for Risa and Miya... though i doubt you can do the usual 4 eps stuffs for Miya coz of *cough*incest*cough*, but its juz sad that they didn't plan the same for Risa. One episode story only, i wonder what would they do with Risa for it...

As for Miya, i can already imagine what her episode would be

Miya is a lot of fun. One episode is more than enough though. I am sure her "Nii-nii" and "nishinishi" would get on my nerves eventually.

friend recommended this series to me as well as a bunch of others, while I don't normally watch these kind of shows, I can't help but have a silly grin on my face when the "heart warming" stuff goes on. Though I've only seen the first two eps so far (poor sap, that's freakin' soul crushing to be stood up/rejected/dumped on Christmas), I'm rather enjoying it.

Does anyone know the reason for the break? I'm kinda pissed that the ony break in the series comes during the arc I've waited months for

Breaks occur a few times a year, usually for "specials" or sports-related broadcasts. It gets really odd if the baseball season gets wonky (as Nanako-sensei and Konata in Lucky*Star often grouse about for different reasons). Technically, next week is "ep 13" week between seasons -- there's often a break depending on how many eps a series has been been ordered for. If Amagami is a 24 ep series rather than a 26 ep series, its one way to deal with that.
