I can suggest GunGrave, but it is a bit melancholic. Maybe you will like it

I definitely suggest DETECTIVE CONAN (aka: CASE CLOSED) by Gosho Aoyama!

There is a new series coming up, Umineko which is made by Ryukshi07 (sp?) who made Higurashi as well, I haven't seen it or played the games, but I'm a fan of Higurashi and I'm going to check it out.

I guess you should give Neon Genesis Evangelion a try, if the shows you listed are anything to go by. there are people who didnt like it, and there are people who didnt get it ('get it' in evangelions case is also pretty subjective..). I personally thought it was mind blowing .

Lets see.. you might want to give Elfen Lied a try?

I second this.

You should check out Umineko no Naku Koro ni, the first episode airs tomorrow in Japan. I've played the games, and they really are great, I like them better than Higurashi to be honest, and although the stories are in the same wavelength (murder mystery, etc), they're also very different so it's a totally new series.

Also, you have Monster, Elfen Lied and Darker Than Black.

Eden of the East has parallels to Code Geass.

Desert Punk has a pretty good plot development, I'd say it's somewhat similar to Code Geass in that aspect.

An anime that shifts moods of peaceful to chaos? something serious? psychological? characters having multi-personalities? what do you mean by well dev. of their plots? fast? slow? concrete?

Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~-its a bit similar to all of them in terms of it being a good show. hehe XD
