LROlsson: thanks! I'll add the names if it's okay and fix some parts. Don't know some of the names, since I'm not very good at recognizing voice actors.

[mod edit: remove pointless debate]
Quote:
First off, the graphics leave much to be desired and remind me of a spiced up StarFox64 game. Second, all the new characters are cute, they get to speak, but almost no plot device draws you in. It feels like they are only there for the purpose of being there. The trailer for all Macross series (or games) has never been so vague. Third, seriously; why does Basara have to fight? This is way out of his character to shoot missiles and weaponry. I think this is a bad addition for those who accepted his character in the end, like me. Fourth, does anyone else notice that all of the girls who lost the past triangles have something to say whilst those who won it do not really have even a line? Ironically, this would mean Sheryl lost given that she has more lines whilst Ranka has one, but then, this also applies to Mao, who speaks whilst Sara does not. I find this to be a bit trolling. I don't know if anyone else feels these vibes but it is really odd how they spaced this all together. Finally, they don't really imply on the plot for the game in either trailer really. There's a bit war going on, the universes are entwined, all pilots from the different universes are coming together. But there is no plot on why. Honestly, I understand the protection part, but who is attacking, or what? There isn't much information. Also, they don't actually explain how or why the hostages were taken in the first place. You see the logic here? The game starts you off in the middle of something whilst you're confused. Nope; not buying that people. On a shipping note here: Spoiler for Vajra AND Sheryl? Shouldn't this be Sheryl and Vajra?:

Some more gameplay info and 2 new characters. The guy gets the 'cute' mascot now? I thought it was a scarf, but looks more like a large pet. Mei will be voiced by Ayana Taketatsu (Azusa from K-ON!, Kirino from OreImo).

Dropped by to squeal at this beautiful pic:
Spoiler for ah~ sweet love:
Don't care what anyone has to say about it; Spoiler for and~:
As I hear it, the game allows for choice of what girl can win the love triangle? Is that true? I'd love to play it then. I've been hesitant because my only console available is my computer (can play PS3 games barely). But if there is more than one path I can take in the romance field in the game, it will certainly boost my moral. I don't want to lose love for Macross... Still, this new picture gives me hopes and dreams.

Search Amazon. That is where I bought mine about a year ago. It was around $400.

You are correct. Not only was it $400 but adding shipping? What a bitch. But since my TV was (and still is) a piece of crap born in the early '00s, I settled for it. Still, shipping took 2weeks because I chose regular mail due to lack of funds. It isn't really worth it unless you have a monster computer. Luckily, in June, I bought a computer with an i5 Core Processor able to handle the main functions of the PS3 and its earlier games (requiring less memory to decode). However, the i7 is better. Too bad I'm broke again.

Once again, I am quite unhappy that I did not choose to learn Japanese and get the option to enjoy those games. That looks pretty interesting from the pictures.
Oh, well. Maybe after settling down those issues of getting a well paying job and a new apartment. Maybe not. So much stuff to choose from on how to fill my free time.
