F-14s Versus UFOs … in Iran; Yes, you read that right:
"An incredible report from Babak Taghvaee in the latest issue of Combat Aircraft magazine. According to Taghvaee, the Iranian air force’s fleet of 1970s-vintage F-14 Tomcat fighters have spent the last nine years chasing around mysterious flying, glowing objects over Iran’s nuclear facilities." "The UAVs could jam radars and disrupt interceptors’ navigation systems. They flew
“outside the atmosphere” at speeds of up to Mach 10. They could hover. Flying at night, they emitted a telltale blue light that led to their nickname: “luminous objects.” “In several cases … F-14s faced them but were unable to operate their armament systems properly,” Taghvaee writes. One Tomcat taking off to intercept a luminous object on Jan. 26, 2012 mysteriously exploded, killing both crewmen. Taghvaee implies the alleged UAV was somehow responsible, as the F-14 in question was “one of the fittest” of the 40 or so Tomcats then in service." It can hover *and* fly outside the atmosphere at Mach 10? That's a pretty impressive UAV! Or maybe some of that Opium from Afghanistan has been finding its way into Iran........ |

India charges 33 aboard armed U.S. 'anti-piracy' ship
So India fails to keep their waters safe, and it is the ship's guard's fault for failing to procure papers? Then again, how does one procure those papers when the country has that fat bureaucracy? Sounds like someone forgot to pay their bribes in time to me. Chinese Netizens On US Shutdown, We Want One Too. If this is true, then China really looks like a magnified version of Singapore : what they have, we want one too!

Mexico cartel honcho reportedly killed by gunmen dressed as clowns:
"Gunmen dressed as clowns burst into a children’s party and shot to death the eldest brother of one of Mexico’s erstwhile largest and feared drug-trafficking families, Mexican officials and press said Saturday. Francisco Rafael Arellano Felix was killed in the Baja California city of Cabo San Lucas while attending the party at a local hotel on Friday, the reports said." ^ Sounds to me like someone was either trying to be ironic, or they had watched Desperado and The Dark Knight. Either way, the whole thing sounds like it's out of a movie, shooting up a drug lords kids birthday party, wasn't that the plot to a Tom Clancy movie once?
