But I wonder more about the hints at future developments in the franchise... I want MORE MACROSS, dangit!!!

I hate the dokun dokun song with a violent passion. Triangular is the only song in the series I hate more....

Why the hate on Triangular? I thought Sakamoto Maaya's voice was very appropriate, and the OP itself worked rather well.

I just had thought: what if the Vajra's queen is Sarah Nome?!?
In Macross Zero she went on a one way trip to an unknown place: if the birdman was related to the Vajra then it would make sense it came back to its home planet.

That would be awesome. I think some of us brought up this idea back in Episode 5, when the captured Vajra started to generate a human-like silhouette in responding to Ranka's singing. My first thought was "OMG, that's Sara Nome!", as it was too suggestive.

She was screechy, pitchy, the lyrics sucked rather pitifully and god the music arrangement was like something ripped out of FMA's "Melissa" remixed a million times;

The only thing that made it worthwhile was the OP animation sequence which was...wayyyy better than the second LION one (uhg...collage of old animation scenes. Could it get any lazier!? The very very beginning part of it was okay though, with the makeup table and the freaky Sheryl-song blasting through the mirror lmfao hated her dress though >A>) though it sort of...made the show really misleading X'DDDDD

Still don't see why this particular song is worse than, say, Loop or some others...

Oh, well. I like it, even if it's because of the perfect blend with the OP and the series itself.

triangular was ok, but the lyrics really clashed with the BGM, i swear i couldve done a better job just remixing her voice and through judicious use of ableton live.

Lion asside from scene reusage is epicly awesome.

Am I the only one thinking that Ranshe coughing in the beginning of the episode showing she seems to be infected with the V-Type disease has some form of Sheryl connection?

Though, I'm thinking with what, 2 eps left, I don't think there'd be no more space to develop such an angle though.
