You can only vote once a day.

So the code have to be super sophisticated, able to either hack or fake IP address then automatically move the cursor to click click click and enter a random email address, then repeat that all over again

Dunno about you, but that sound hard to me ^^;

(if there really is one in 2chan, how great *the code I mean, not the intention* I would love to be able to make that kind of code one day)

Yeah, Dengeki didn't seem to use any sophisticated protection (not even captcha, or checking existence of email adress).
And I am not sure if it even checks the IP, because I didn't had any problem voting 2 times from 2 emails.

I vote once yesterday (and it was only around 50k voter), and after that it keeps redirecting me to the 'current number of voter' page, therefore I presume it is checking my IP address

*shrug* oh well let's just pray at October 10th it is not some random character that won (like Hino or Gekota...)

So I take it this is the announcement we're supposed to be getting today, since it went up on dengeki's website today. Does anyone know what it says? All I can make out with is that it has something to do with October 31st.

Apparently, voting is still open... So we can fix the voting problem if we write hack programs that vote for the characters we want so that it fixes the unfair votes going to other characters

@Ilidsor I used google translate and saw from some of it that it seems to talk about the PV's like the Accelerator manga, Index NT 8, and other things. It also mentions the popularity poll which is still continuing.

Also, by the way... the poll is actually still open. So if enough people voted for the characters they want. I think it would be apparent which one was supposed to win otherwise. So try voting for other characters. I mean Mikoto isn't doing that badly after all. She is low compared to the hacked characters, but clearly winning otherwise.

^I can't remember to be honest. Probably off of the Index image thread. I just liked the picture so much i decided to resize it and make it my sig.

Well I think if we just pick the characters that would win anyway and vote a lot it'll be apparent like I said so it doesn't actually matter that much... unless everyone tries to cheat the system... which would probably not end well... even though I'm really sure the most popular character is just a fight between Mikoto, Touma, and Accelerator... that's kind of obvious really... So they might just take the one of them that wins...
