Well if you want a serious answer... it's part of her old CD singles before she got into Macross F

That isn't quite right though not wrong either.
this song is her CD while she still used the name Nakabayashi Mai.
it is not a "single" as the CD is a not-for-sale CD from Zexy(wedding info magazine).
Zexy uses this song on their tv advertisement and Mayn's is the 4th. other singer were kimura kaela, sunset wish, keyco etc.

it is a not-for-sale so the only way to get it is by auction or work at zexy

Very nice video, indeed.

Incidentally, I stumbled upon this:

And, ever since, I've been scourging the interwebs after a MP3 of it - but I don't think there is any. Some kind soul could help out a fella? Any links to this Macross - The Tribute CD (which has a Iijima single version of Angel Voice) would be appreciated, as well...

To be honest, my views on fan-made music videos for anime tend to be ambivalent: a few good ones, and a lot of bad ones.

But I think this one is well-made. The song was nicely chosen as well. Thanks for the heads up.

Although, if they do a duet of Angel Voice, it'll be the first time they actually do it. The AMV above is just a digital merging of two separate versions into one.

Also...

Wait, did that 1, 2, 3, 4 counting at the start actually match the song's time signature and tempo? :O

Well I found myself something interesting. I found Megumi Nakajima's full live performance of "Voices" and it was such a wonderful performance

Enjoy!

Wow! This has been of my favorite Macross songs ever and Megumi really delivered it quite well here.

I can't wait to have all this compilation of vintage Macross songs from that concert on a CD.

God, I cannot believe I missed this one. Probably the most perfect fan-made video I've ever seen. And, yes, I noticed both the counting tempo and some lipsync, as well. This was a very well done piece! Congratulations to Pwolf, on a very good work.

Also, like I have stated before, this is a not so bad version of Voices. I liked it, at least, more than Mylene's version from way back.

NakaMegu should sing in this kind of voice more often.
