What the hell did I just watch...

That was the crackiest of the cracked things I've seen recently. I can't even remember MLP from when I was but a wee lad (probably because of that! I had other high-brow shows to watch /nod /nod), but if the show is full of crack like that I can see why folks would watch it.

Might watch an episode or two if I could spare the time, that or DL it for my friends daughter and foist it on them and see what they think.

The series is a bit like the developers spent all weekend on a Ren&Stimpy marathon laced with Panty&Stocking; then they were assigned to "make that but for little kids"... I mean, that Wierd Al AMV is just clips from the show set to music. The lunacy is unshopped (lol).

The fandom is certainly pretty creative... this was the video that caused me to give the series a chance at all:

Spoiler for Tidiness:
Yeah... that was the video that sparked my interest. I suppose it helps that I watched the original MLP series when I was a kid, so in some ways, it's like a nostalgia trip for me.

Heh.

Heh, that SC2 one is pretty clever. OK I guess I shall watch the first episode, since I have nothing else to do since my trip up the coast to Brisbane (which I got up at 5am for) has been washed out by floods QQ.

Lol, "This is my horse, my horse is amazing give it a lick..."

You Bronies have gone unchecked for too long, so I have formed a rival children's-cartoon-based gang to challenge you.

Anyone who wants to join, grab your vests and journals and meet me at the Honker Burger. Haters get the Quail Eye. *Flashes journal writing gesture gang sign.* Peace out.

Horse porn with anime-ish eyes = profit.

No I'm waiting again for the artist to get into the mood of drawing it. It was suppose to be a picture of him and fluttershy, with angel on his knee holding up a carrot sword dressed in a simular cloak of kightly's

Please don't assume most adult MLP:FIM fans are furries. Here's a video why the show is popular with the bronies.

^No you're not.

I just thought that since the question posed by the original title (Can someone explain to me the appeal of My Little Pony?) has been answered, a rename to the current title was warranted...

I can always change it back if there's enough feedback.

Considering how popular MLP is, it's probably worth keeping the change.

I am a Brony also.I started embracing MLP:FIM about four months ago and since then I'm hooked... on ponies
One of the things I like about it is the material the fandom can produce about the show.Especially the music.Like these 3 examples:

Pony Rap:

Pony Metal:

Pony Bad Apple:
