Le chevalier d'Eon

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone is finding this manga an enthralling read. I have just bought volume 7 and, although not as strong as previous volumes, it still kicks arse! I have yet to watch the anime - I am hoping it lives up to the great manga! How many more volumes are planned?

Anime > Manga in this case, IMO. Manga feels like the usual supernatural fare, monsters and all, while the anime captures the elegant spirit of the ancien régime quite brilliantly, with the supernatural side just there to run the plot. The anime was at its best when it tried to capture the atmosphere of the Three Musketeers rather than the whole Psalm thing, something the manga didn't do.

Very different works despite the shared name.

Ah ok, cool! Definitely will be checking it out then! What is the frequency in which the manga comes out in Japan?
