North Pole or Antarctica. The brittle ice can't sustain nor provide BETA a way to move easily plus the cold condition... Build forts there. Construct Green houses for growing of edible plants etc.

Well, here's an idea---nomadic lifestyle in fleets consistently touring the oceans.

Which begs the question...why no one sought to take the BETA in void war...you know, if they can make Alt V, why not make a blockade fleet to prevent the BETA from actually making planetfall and to hit them from orbit.
