Hahahaha this is o funny the ending was so obvious to a sequal. I mean the previews before each episode gave away everything basically but still fun. And the last episode ended like that with To be continued ? lol.
Also its funny since yeah Will did not appear again after he disappeared in the explosion. |

Well, Heroman has ended....For now? hopefully, I rather liked the ending, as well as the series, growing up with Marvel comics, this series was full of nostaglia, it brought together the best parts of most of Stan Lee's creations, I mean Korgor turned into a kind of Galactus type character at the end.

Finally had the chance to finish heroman, and I gotta say it's a bit mixed. I really enjoyed the concept and beginning of Heroman, but what made this mix is that I wanted more.
The last episode had a lot of surprises, but in the end, it was semi typical, though I did enjoy the 'earth' being part of the title A second season wouldn't be too bad, but I really wished the second skrugg involvement was more climatic then what was showned, and dunno what Minami would cook up. Still the last episodes have been enjoyable, and I'd recommend this series, if your looking for a good old simple story, with both east and west elements. |

Weak start and weak ending, but an enjoyable journey in between and mostly likable characters (especially Joey and Lina) made this show worthwhile. It was simple and innocent without devolving into a battle anime. Most importantly, it was not set in Japan. Good job on that, Stan Lee

finally finished it all, the animation has been high quality till the end
the Skrugg boss is really baka, if i am in his place, i would make sure i cut off the heads of Heroman, Joey and Will before i start drilling so what happen to Will? did he become another superhero and get his own show in the future? seems like they are hinting about another season, "Return of the Mad Scientist" or "The Skrugg Empire Strikes Back" |

HEROMAN - Last Review
Faith
So, it's finally over! Six months that it took me to watch this show from the beginning to the end. When I first watched the starting episode I had my reservations as to how HEROMAN would sit or cope with the targeted Japanese audience, since the show itself took the settings in the U.S.A. with an American teenager as the lead protagonist. To be frankly, I do relate with Joey in many dimensions of his personality, and I believe quite a few of the Japanese viewers were able to grasp his personality within themselves. The boy only wished to be a hero that protects his world around him and nothing else. From my POV, one of the greatest advantages this series possess is that the storyline is neatly constructed in short-lived arcs, that do tend to get in the point but at the same time delivering a fair amount of pacing to explore the characters' daily lives. The only problem with the final episode was that all the emotions and drama that were downpoured from Joey's friend to him I view it as a tactic to make more meaningful the last battle's climax to finish with a Big-Bang a la DBZ-style. Joey's memory from when he first met Lina did not play out until the climax of the last episode, and I see that tactic as a cheap shot from my POV. I do, however, loved the insert song played out during Kogorr's very last stand. As far as for the Skrugg, the designers effectively catered to people's basic psychology which makes the Skrugg effectively, heartless villains. The Skrugg are based of from insects, specifically the locusts and cockroaches, as that is how I see them. By nature, humans hold a basic fear of insects or to some species, at least. And insects themselves tend to be very brutal and without compassion. That is how the Skrugg played out in this show, and I praised the staff for coming-up with such effective creatures since judging from their appearance and design the Skrugg made it clear from the start that they do not anything that redeems them. The ending was left highly opened, and I was wondering when would the time will come... Spoiler:
Although, the users at this thread are advising not to get my hopes flying high due that HEROMAN performed poorly in Japan. Anyways, I'm glad that I sticked with this show mainly because Stan Lee conceived the idea, and BONES took it for the gamble. This has been the third title that I concluded for the 2010 spring season. |

Join us as we follow Will Davis, once a normal high school football player with a sister complex. He unfortunately gets captured by the evil Skrugg and is transformed into Skrugg Man. Now as Skrugg Man, he fights to eradicate all remnants of Skrugg technology on Earth after the death of Kogorr and the Skrugg invaders. Always protecting his little sister Lina from the shadows knowing that they can never be together as a family again. Threatening Joey with bodily harm if Joey even thinks about making the moves on Lina. Hey, that's what big brothers are for!

So much wasted potential. The problem wasn't with the concept or characters but the villains. Villains make or break any piece and they were just lacking altogether.
I need to know the name of the victory song they played in Ep 16 and here in Ep26 when Joey and Heroman did their counterattack. I need this song so badly. |

Just because most people here watch subs doesn't mean there is no interest in dubbing, and interest in either one is not exclusive of the other. Plus, Heroman is a show that screams American dub anyway. To answer the question: No plans from what I know.
