Just watched it, and all I can say that they just didn't bother being subtle with the opening. Which is really an understatement, I mean like holly sht.

While rewatching the first episode, I noticed a few glaring mistakes on the sign in the train at the very beginning:

The funny Engrish on the left ("weater") is nothing really new
The many remaining mistakes only become apparent if you actually know Japanese: whoever wrote the sign on the right used the wrong kanji for *every* single place name XD
Yes, even the Japanese sometimes have problems with kanji (although, making *this* much mistakes is a bit excessive.)

Spoiler for A detailled look at the kanji:

edit:
I've now fully TSed my version, with all wrong kanji fixed
They really should hire me to fix their embarrassing mistakes.

Just watching the 2nd episode and............ WTF with the OP? It's easily mistaken as some kind of porn videos!? And WTF with Nasuhara? It's as if she's licking his p***s! WTF with Ginbei too, was she r**e Akito while he's unconscious? The OP totally caught me off guard!

Gratefully, the comedy in 2nd episode is quite better than the previous episode, especially with Nasuhara delivering dirty jokes with completely deadpan face, totally hilarious!

I can't believe you went through all that work and totally failed to realize the most obvious point: the place names were parodying actual place names! These aren't mistakes, it's deliberate! Some of the parodied names were pretty obvious jokes too (like the "Maru" joke). I really can't believe you tried to call that out as a mistake.

Erm, I think it's not use to try to portray language jokes if your spectators (actually people whom don't speak Eng. or Jap.) don't have a little knowledge in Japanese.

This series is full of jokes, and anime will make a good use of them as ep. 1 & 2.

IIRC this parodying is present only in the anime. Sadly, it's not easy to add T/N to an episode like a manga or LN.

Haven't seen the licensed ep, but I'm curious how will do they with some "particularities" of this show.

Suuure, if someone does mess up, it's suddenly: "Hey, it's not a mess-up, it was meant to be that way - it's a parody!"
Reminds me of Windows: "Hey, it's not a bug, it's a feature! It was meant to be that way!" XD

But hey, if it makes you happy, believe in your little "parody", which wasn't there in the source material.

This isn't a parody. It's not even funny (other than most other things in the episode). It just makes whoever did that look really, really stupid.
As such, I'll continue to fix this stupidity.

Easily the best OP of the season so far <3

Episode was quite awesome overall, loved the whole tsundere thing and lots of delicious akiko ass shots. Seriously my favorite show so far, the 15 year old seiyu is probably also part of the reason.

Man, why the camera guy was so ecchi? It seems he had nothing to do but keep shooting at Akiko's ass. I also kinda feel bad for Akiko since she was being butt of all of the jokes from other girls all the time.

A lot of anime tend to intentionally change the name of real life places and restaurants to avoid copyrights or just because. It's very possible.

I'm sure you've heard of all the McDonalds variants, like MaskDonalds or WcDonald's, or all the Windows (Mindows) and Google variants.

But...the main audience IS japanese people, people who speak the language, understand the language, etc. So why wouldn't it be appropriate to have these jokes?

So? Animes add their own little things all the time.

Parodies don't have to be funny, they're meant to reference things.

As Shadow5YA said, parodies of McDonald and various other brands have had their names changed to avoid copyrights or just because, this is no different.

And you're not 'fixing' anything btw -_-

You're not even suppose to have access to this if you're not Japanese so what are you talking about -_- ?

people need to stop a looping gif as the real thing

that being said, holy *** that OP just went all out. However that ED is quite lazy, and I hope they update it in the future episodes

You know generally, if EVERY SINGLE place name uses an ateji for a location name instead of the actual kanji, it's probably intentional and not an accident. Absolutely hilarious that you harp on people for not learning Japanese, but the fact that you are unable to read between the lines shows an utter lack of ability to grasp the language.

Might not be a parody, maybe they want to avoid any sort of liability, who knows. Arguing that it isn't in a parody because it's not source material is ridiculous, the anime isn't even following the source material. It's completely reorganized the time line while picking and choosing events that want from the novel.
